BNP Counterattacks with Hard-Hitting Turkey ‘Not in the EU’ Leaflet

May 31, 2009

turkey-leaflet-01The British National Party has responded to the disgraceful attempt by the Turkish government to interfere in British elections with a hard-hitting leaflet opposing that country’s entry into the EU. Under the heading “If you want Turkey for a neighbour, vote Tory, Lib or Labour”, the leaflet calls on British people not to holiday or in any way support Turkey.

The full text reads as follows: “Stop Turkey entering the EU and don’t let them tell you how to vote,” the leaflet starts, referring to the attempt last week by the Turkish embassy to get a BNP election leaflet banned.

“What a nerve! Turkey is a state where the army commanders threaten to grab power whenever a party which they don’t like is set to win an election. Turkey throws people into prison for writing about the brutal genocide of more than a million Christians by the Turkish army in 1915 — the same time they were raping and murdering thousands of British POWs on the Kut Death March.

“Yet still they have the cheek to try to tell us what we can and cannot put on our election leaflets. They have the nerve to try to deny you the right to read what the British National Party has to say and to make up your own mind.

“Here’s how you can tell Turkey to keep its nose out of our elections:

- Vote British National Party this Thursday.

- Tell your friends and get them to do the same.

- Boycott Turkey as a holiday choice (if you’re one of the lucky few who can afford a holiday now that the old politicians and their bankster friends have wrecked our economy). Go to Greece or the part of Cyprus that Turkey hasn’t yet invaded,” the leaflet says.

Point out that The Sunday Times coverage of the original Turkish Embassy story covered the fact that the BNP is the only party opposed to Turkey’s entry into the EU (which would allow 80 million Muslims to enter the UK). The leaflet continues:

“The other main parties in this election actively support the plan to let Turkey into the EU. The Tories are extra keen because their Big Business friends see a quick profit in it.

“Only the British National Party is 100% opposed to Turkey joining the European Union. We want to win seats so we can go to Brussels and join up with other patriotic parties to stop it.

“The plan by the professional politicians to give Turkey’s 80 million low-wage Muslims the automatic right to enter Britain would mean:

  • Even higher unemployment
  • Even lower wages
  • Even more building on our precious greenbelt
  • Even longer queues for healthcare
  • Even stronger pressure to Islamicise Britain, undermining our democracy and Christian traditions

“Average wages in Turkey are so much lower than ours that millions are waiting to pour into Britain — if the out-of-touch old politicians are left in power to open the floodgates.

“If you thought the Eastern European invasion was bad around here, you won’t want to see your street once half of Turkey turns up on Britain’s doorstep. Send the old parties a message they cannot ignore: join the millions voting BNP this Thursday.”

The leaflet will be mass distributed in West Yorkshire and London, and will be available centrally. People in a hurry to get hold of a copy can download a PDF version here and print it for their own use.

BNP Launches “Recall MPs” Petition

May 31, 2009

pointThe ongoing expenses scandal, created by all three parties at Westminster, has destroyed many people’s faith in democracy. Radical action is needed to correct this state of affairs.

As part of our programme of wide ranging reform, the British National Party has launched a petition to introduce a law allowing voters to sack Members of Parliament who have violated the trust between Parliament and the voters.

The key demands of this petition are:

1) Give the people power to sack MPs.

The BNP wants to give voters the power to sack MPs by signing a petition to “recall” them. MPs should be forced to seek immediate re-election if ten percent of constituents sign up to the demand.

Many states in America already operate similar systems. In California Arnold Schwarzenegger won the governorship in a 2003 ballot triggered by a petition demanding the recall of Gray Davis who many saw as corrupt and ineffective.

“The expenses scandals have badly shaken faith in our democracy,” said BNP leader Nick Griffin. “People are angry, disillusioned and alienated. The BNP will benefit at the polls, but we care about our country and want good systems which enjoy public confidence.

“We need MPs to answer to the people. Why should we be stuck with disgraced MPs until the next General Election? People must have the power to remove an MP who has acted corruptly or flouted their electors’ wishes. It’s a radical reform but a necessary one.”

His comments come after thirteen and counting MPs have announced that they will not seek re-election. These include Sir Nicholas and Ann Winterton who claimed £80,000 for a flat owned by a trust their children controlled, and Elliot Morley, who claimed £16,000 over 18 months for a mortgage that did not exist.

If these parasites cling on till the next election, they will receive generous resettlement and winding-up allowances which will cost the taxpayers further millions.

2) Independently audit the expense accounts of MPs for the whole of their term of office.

The BNP wants a forensic audit of the expenses of all MPs for their whole term of office. The public is entitled to expect and demand this.

The auditing body must be entirely separate and independent. A body similar to the Certification Office which regulates Trade Unions could be used as a model.

Furthermore, a panel of senior barristers must be appointed to provide a definitive interpretation of the rules contained in the ‘Green Book’. The auditors must then compare claims that have been paid against this interpretation. Every single claim which does not fall within the rules must be immediately repaid by the MPs concerned without exception.

A panel of three judges determine whether, in their opinion,  any criminal offences have been committed by any MP, such as attempting to gain a pecuniary advantage, deception or fraud. Those that are considered to have a case to answer must be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. A separate investigation by tax authorities should also be conducted into the expense claims.

BNP Mails Election Appeal to 32,000 Pubs

May 31, 2009

pub-mailingThe British National Party’s European election campaign has been stepped up once again with a mass mailing to 32,000 pubs across the country expressing support for this fine British institution and mapping out its policies towards the industry.

The mass mailing also contained an offer for free beer mats for all publicans wishing to respond. The beer mats feature important aspects of BNP policy.

The letter which accompanied the mailing was written by BNP leader Nick Griffin, and reads as follows:

“Dear Proprietor,

I am writing to you personally to show my genuine support of the British Pub. Yes, it’s election time and of course there is a political motive for my letter, after all, I am the leader of the British National Party. However, I have a genuine interest and passion in the Great British institution, the Pub.

As you know, successive governments have imposed crippling burdens on your business. This has already forced many once thriving pubs out of business, with many more in deep trouble. Let me assure you that the British National Party would strive to undo this damage. For a start we’d end the smoking ban, abolish business rates for pubs, slash the duty on beer served in licensed premises. We will also campaign to compel pub chains and big breweries to allow landlords to buy beers from independent breweries, and to exempt from duty altogether real ales distributed within 30 miles of their brewery.

We know that the Pub is the hub of the community and provides a valuable service to the local area. It should be treated far more sympathetically than at present. Between them, the Labour government and the Eurocrats seem hell-bent on destroying the British Pub – so much so that many people believe it’s part of a deliberate scheme to undermine our traditional culture and identity.

On June 4th you and your customers have the chance to help yourselves by voting British National Party. If we’re not in power, we can’t help you. But fortunately, we will be on the European Parliamentary election ballot papers in every single place in the country, and the Proportional Representation system used in that contest means that the BNP stands a very good chance of winning seats. Every extra vote will therefore add to the chances of our finally having the power and the democratic mandate we need to speak and act on your behalf. You have my solemn word as bond that we will give priority support to your much-maligned industry.

The British National Party will defend, promote and support your business, the Great British Pub. It’s not just your business; it’s the heart of our community.”

* The mass mailing was completed in record time by the BNP’s external mailing department under Mark Collett, who worked day and night over this past weekend.

David Cameron ‘Swindled’ House Expenses while Calling for Arrest of MPs Who Follow Suit

May 31, 2009

david-cameron-house-londonTory leader David Cameron has been exposed as a shocking hypocrite after he called for the arrest of MPs fiddling their second home expenses – while he has ’swindled’ taxpayers with a bloated mortgage to pay off his London home (pictured).

Separately, it has emerged that Mr Cameron has claimed a grand total of £884,192 in expenses since he first entered parliament in 2001, in addition to his parliamentary salary.

Mr Cameron paid off a loan on his London home shortly after taking out a £350,000 taxpayer-funded mortgage on his constituency house in Chipping Norton – just days after he called for the “full force of the law” to be used against MPs who have fiddled their expenses.

Despite being a millionaire, and therefore hardly in need of a subsidy in the first place, the Tory boss took out the £350,000 mortgage to buy a large house in Oxfordshire in August 2001.

By nominating it as his second home, he was able to claim for the mortgage interest payments under the Commons’ Additional Costs Allowance (ACA).

Just four months after securing the £350,000 mortgage, Mr Cameron paid off the £75,000 loan on his Kensington, London home, taken out only six years earlier.

Despite Mr Cameron’s denials, the timing makes it obvious that the Chipping Norton loan was used to pay off the London house. If he had kept the loan on his London home and borrowed £75,000 less on the Oxfordshire property, taxpayers could have been saved more than £22,000 between 2002 and 2007.

To make matters worse, Mr Cameron then sold the Kensington house in 2005 for £1,150,000 — a quick profit of £935,000.

Mr Cameron’s weak excuse is that his mortgage claims are “perfectly reasonable.”

However, many would question whether it is reasonable to make the taxpayers pay your own council bills and household running expenses as well.

Ten days ago, at a meeting with his Witney constituents to answer their questions on expenses, Mr Cameron admitted to claiming “close to the maximum” and that he had also claimed for “council tax, oil, gas and other utility type bills and insurance on the property.”

He failed to add that he had also claimed £680 to have wisteria removed from the chimney of his Chipping Norton house.

On Friday, the day before his outrageous mortgage swindle was revealed, Mr Cameron announced that MPs who “claimed expenses for non-existent mortgages should be arrested and prosecuted.”

He insisted that MPs caught fiddling their expenses should be subject to “the full force of the law” if they have committed a crime with their expenses claims.

He said Scotland Yard, which is considering whether to launch criminal inquiries, should examine them “without fear or favour.”

Daily Telegraph: “If people have broken the law in claiming expenses, like mortgage payments for mortgages that don’t exist, should they be subject to the full force of the law? Yes of course they should.”

The Tory leader said he was “ashamed” at what some of his and other parties’ MPs had done and accepted it had damaged his party.

“Has this been a setback for the Conservative Party? Yes. The sight of people claiming for duck ponds and moats and pools is a bad sight,” he said.

* According to the official records, Mr Cameron’s expenses claims since 2001, when he entered parliament, are as follows:

2001/02 — £100,398;

2002/03 — £112,568;

2003/04 — £119,829;

2004/05 — £123,454;

2005/06 — £135,729;

2006/07 — £143,385;

2007/08 — £148,829.

This means that Mr Cameron has claimed a total of £884,192 since he was elected to parliament – over and above his salary as Leader of the Opposition, which is £131,172 per year.

Mr Cameron has been leader of the opposition since 2005. This means that since 2001, he has earned a cool £1,723,595, made up of salary plus expenses, courtesy of the taxpayers.

Perhaps the time has come for Scotland Yard to act on Mr Cameron’s suggestions, and start arresting those MPs who have swindled the public. The Conservative Party might find its campaigning a little more difficult with its leader in jail.

EU Doctor Rules Will be “Catastrophic” For Britain, Warns Royal College of Surgeons President

May 31, 2009

surgeryYet another reason to leave the EU: Britain’s top surgeon and president of the Royal College of Surgeons has warned that patients’ lives will be put at risk and hospitals will close if new EU rules on the profession are enforced in this country.

”Patients’ lives will be put at risk and hospitals forced to close because of new European rules which limit doctors’ working hours,” said Mr John Black, who was first elected to the Council of The Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2003. He said the EU rules will be a “catastrophe for the National Health Service if all doctors are forced to comply with a directive which limits them to working a 48-hour week.

Writing in a Sunday newspaper, Mr Black said, “Most doctors – and particularly those still in training – work considerably longer than 48 hours and restricting their working week will lead to a shortage of surgeons with not enough staff to keep hospitals open.”

“It is not an exaggeration to say that the new rules, which come into force on August 1, will lead to operations being cancelled and wards closed down.

“Patients’ lives are already being endangered as doctors’ hours are driven down in advance of the legislation taking effect,” he wrote, adding that a “scandalous lack of political will” is the reason why the problem has not been addressed.

“Unless the Government comes to its senses, the result will be catastrophic for the NHS with patient safety on a knife edge, surgeons not being properly trained, waiting lists going up again and even hospitals closing.

“We have already reached the point where patients’ health has been endangered. There is a serious risk of units in hospitals having to close to emergencies, with resulting chaos, not to mention the danger and inconvenience brought about by patients going long distances to a hospital that has enough staff to stay open.

“This is truly a nightmare, and I despair that the Government will not take action.”

Hospitals have already been warned that failure to comply with the EU regulations will mean financial penalties.

The European Working Time Directive, drawn up by Brussels, is designed to limit the working hours of all employees in the EU to an average of 48 hours a week. According to reports, the regulations are so impossible that many EU countries simply ignore the directive, while the UK has been working towards implementing it for ten years.

MigrationwatchUK Condemns All Other Parties for Silence on Immigration

May 31, 2009

immigration-is-not-working-bannerThe well-respected MigrationwatchUK think tank, which claims to have a working relationship with elements of both the Labour and Conservative parties, has condemned all other political parties except the BNP for not discussing immigration.

“The three main parties are once again ignoring widespread public concern about the number of immigrants allowed into the UK in their manifestos for next week’s European elections,” MigrationwatchUK’s Sir Andrew Green has said in a press release.

“An analysis of the parties’ manifestos on this highly sensitive issue — consistently rated among the top three concerns of the public for a number of years — finds no hint of any desire for an open and frank discussion, let alone any meaningful commitment to bring down the highest immigration levels in our history,” Sir Green said.

“Only last week a YouGov poll showed that more than 7 out of 10 adults want immigration cut by over 80 percent.

“Yet once again the main parties prefer to duck the issue and offer only platitudes. Either they simply do not understand the level of public concern out there — or they are displaying a wilful disregard of the public mood,” Sir Green said.

The Migrationwatch assessment on the Labour Party manifesto is that while there is undoubtedly a major reform of the visa system, “there is no sign of any significant reduction in numbers.

“The description of it as ‘Australian style’ is misleading,” said Sir Green.

“The Australians start from a limit and select within it. The new British system has no limits and is not intended to have any. Indeed it might well weaken immigration control rather than strengthen it,” Sir Green said.

“There is no reference to the UK’s population. Ministers have said that they will prevent the population of the UK reaching 70 million from the present 61 million. That will require a reduction of 75 percent in net immigration. Their own estimate is that measures announced so far will reduce it by about 5 percent.”

The assessment of the LibDem proposals is that they are “fine words with a predictable pro-European slant but in need of a reality check. What is their ‘coherent approach’ to legal immigration from outside the EU when demography and circumstances differ enormously? And how does this square with national control of immigration? Their manifesto contains no sign of any serious policy for immigration,” he continued.

“The Conservative manifesto is cursory, indeed condescending, on this key issue — a single paragraph in a document of 28 pages stating that their MEPs will oppose harmonisation of policy on asylum, visas and immigration while supporting EU co-operation where it adds value. They say these sensitive matters are best dealt with as policies for national governments’ competence and control.”

The British National Party is the only party to address the immigration issue squarely and honestly, and in line with the issues about which the public are concerned.

Voters have a choice between the other parties, which offer in MigrationwatchUK’s words, “meaningless platitudes”, or for the BNP, which offers a reasonable, sensible and correct approach to the immigration issue.

BNP Campaigns in Neath, South Wales

May 31, 2009

bnp-neathSaturday, 30th May, was an outstandingly good day, both in terms of the weather and of the reception the British National Party’s South Wales team received at its stall in Neath, reports local super activist Clive Bennett.

“This is, or was, a Labour heartland that has now changed its stance irrevocably due to the latest revelations of greed displayed by so many parliamentarians belonging to the old parties,” said Mr Bennett.

“We’d had a stall here last in January and though the reception was good then, the difference in the local people’s attitude is remarkable. In January there was a lot of interest shown in the BNP which may have been out of curiosity.

“Now the question is ‘what will the BNP do for me’ with far more questions about BNP policies,” he said. “There was also a feeling of despondency amongst some locals who said they had finished with politics and were not going to vote. We pointed out to them that it would be a mistake to do that as the election result will affect them personally.”

Despite that, the stall was exceptionally busy. Thousands of leaflets and Voice of Freedom newspapers were handed out by the more than 20 activists who turned up for the day.

“A leafleting team was also out working the area around the Gnoll where a further two thousand leaflets were distributed,” Mr Bennett continued.

“While we were in Neath, a BBC camera crew appeared and did several interviews and quite a lot of filming. Later in the day an S4C camera crew also turned up, and for a time we had both the BBC and S4C crews filming the day’s activity together.”

* The local Member of Parliament is Labour’s Peter Hain, most famous for his forgetfulness concerning the small matter of £103,000 of donations mislaid in his deputy leadership attempt a little while back. Now, as reported in the media this week, it has become known that he tried to claim for two homes simultaneously.

Mr Hain also has a very large heating bill. He claimed £6,000 for heating oil in two years, leading one local to ask if Mr Hain was working for OPEC.

Corsham BNP Give ‘Judas Archbishop’ Leaflets to Parishioners

May 31, 2009

corsham-church-actionSunday 31st May saw four members of the Chippenham Constituency British National Party group attend a service of matins at their local church, St. Bartholomew’s in Corsham, as they do most Sundays.

After the service, the specially produced ‘Judas Archbishop’ leaflets were handed out to members of the congregation. The leaflets, calling on the Church to stop the unfair persecution of a legitimate political party, resulted in many parishioners agreeing that the Archbishops had overstepped the mark and had no place interfering with the electoral process.

County Durham Continues Campaign in the North East

May 31, 2009

bnp-spennymoorCounty Durham British National Party were out campaigning on Saturday 30th May once again in their regular stall in the town of Spennymoor, reports activist Mark Walker.

“The ‘Punish the Pigs’ leaflet was distributed and quite understandably generated a great deal of discussion,” said Mr Walker. “Countless locals expressed their disgust at the recent expenses scandal and almost all agreed that the only reason some are now expressing regret was because they were caught,” he said.

Organiser Adam Walker said there is not a minute to spare between now and Election Day. “We are fully booked with activities around the North East between now and Thursday; this is the final push. Yes, some of us are worn out but we simply cannot rest as the next few days are crucial,” he said.

3,000 Leaflets Distributed by BNP in ‘Telford’s Backyard’

May 31, 2009

black-country-bnp-telfordCorrespondent John Salvage reports from Thomas Telford’s namesake town — After a week in which the establishment, its media luvvies and political funders hoped to smash our high percentage rating across the country through lies and smears, Team Black Country British National Party joined Simon Patton and Wolverhampton BNP in warm late spring sunshine to prove them all wrong once again.

Leading the Black Country team were super activists Kevin Inman and Councillor Russ Green. After receiving instructions from elections supremo Alwyn Deacon, who provided maps and tactical routes to follow, the thirteen strong team went on to distribute more than three thousand leaflets.

The response was positive everywhere they went. By the end of the day, many households could be seen proudly displaying their BNP leaflets at front windows, to the activists’ great satisfaction. One man in particular expressed his deep fear for his daughters’ future in the face of Islamist attitudes towards women, displaying a deep knowledge of the topic unusual for an ordinary member of the public. After a half hour chat, the gentleman took literature on how to join the party and expressed his pleasure at meeting the BNP in person.

Another superb and highly charged moment was a 97-year-old lady who waved at the team from her garden and said: “Who’s in charge; who’s the boss?” The BNP activists approached her and were told that she had had three brothers killed in World War II, including one on D-Day.

She expressed her disgust that after sacrifices such as those, Britain could end up the way it had. “Why is it that I have to struggle while every manner of foreigner gets all the help they want, and more,” this spritely lady said.

“I think it’s about time the BNP were allowed to say what we ordinary people think. Why don’t we hear more on the TV and radio from you?” she asked of the activists.

After gently telling her the reasons why the media blacked the BNP out, she bid them good luck and said she’d be supporting the party on June the 4th.

With emotions high, the activists finished the day’s work with a visit to a local pub. Across from the beautiful pub was a church and a cricket ground. If there was anything that made it all worthwhile, it was this picture of Britishness in all its now endangered beauty. God bless you all on June the 4th, and remember the 97-year-old . . . after all, we owe this massive fight to her and those as yet unborn.

Thousands More Leaflets Delivered in Wirral

May 31, 2009

wirral-day-of-actionSeveral thousand more British National Party leaflets were distributed in a day of action on the Wirral, reports local organiser David Bell.

“Over 30 activists turned out for a highly successful day’s campaigning which included teams leafleting the Wallasey area of the Wirral,” Mr Bell said.

“A table top in the busy precinct in Liscard did brisk business. So many leaflets were handed out to inquiring members of the public that activists had to fetch new supplies of leaflets no less than three times,” he said.

Special guest during the day’s campaigning was party leader Nick Griffin, who helped to man the table. Accompanied by a reporter from a major newspaper, Mr Griffin was able to demonstrate the popular response that the BNP gets on the streets.

Also present was the BNP’s famous Truth Truck, which received hoots of approval from passing motorists and the ‘thumbs up’ from shoppers.

“In the afternoon, the team moved on to Birkenhead where other areas were leafleted to a very positive response, Mr Bell said.

“The day of action didn’t finish there, however. Mr Griffin went on to speak at the Wirral BNP group’s monthly meeting that evening, where he received a hero’s welcome from the crowd.”

Yet Another World War II Veteran Comes out to Bat for the BNP

May 30, 2009

exeter-wwii-veteranYet another World War II veteran, 82-year-old Joe Randall, has come out to bat for the British National Party in the wake of the childish anti-BNP smears launched by the Tory leader and the media in recent days.

Mr Randall, who is now playing an active part in campaigning for the BNP in the South West, always makes sure that his campaign medals, won while serving in the paratroops during the war, are on display for passers-by to see (picture above).

Mr Randall joins numerous other World War II veterans who have come out in support of the BNP over the past few weeks. So far the party has at least three Royal Air Force WWII veterans, including at least one Spitfire Battle of Britain pilot, several Royal Navy veterans (including some who took part in the Dunkirk, Tirpitz and Atlantic Convoy campaigns) and a good sprinkling of D-Day veterans.

“We are proud to have heroes like Mr Randall and his wife Christine attend our table top campaigns,” said Mr Mike Turner, South West Elections Agent.

“These heroes put their lives on the line to fight for Britain all those years ago, and it takes a special kind of person to come out and fight for Britain once again.”

Racial Incidents in Nuneaton and Bedworth Drop by 50% since BNP Councillors Elected

May 30, 2009

martyn-findleyThe number of racial incidents reported in the Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough since the British National Party won its seats on that borough council has dropped by half, according to a report tabled at its latest Social Scrutiny Panel meeting.

“The Best Value Performance Indicators (BVPI) were amongst the reports,” BNP councillor Martyn Findley (pictured) told BNP News. “The Integrated Performance Report for the period April 2008 to March 2009 was brought before us for scrutiny.

“It contained the news that racial incidents recorded for the period 2007/2008 stood at 4.14 incidents per 100,000 people. The figure recorded for April 2008 to March 2009 dropped to 1.58 incidents per 100,000 people.

“This nicely encompasses the period of time that Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council has enjoyed the presence of BNP councillors,” Cllr Findley said.

“By my reckoning the number of racial incidents has fallen by far more than half since BNP councillors were elected to the chamber. Furthermore the Annual Target for 2008/2009 was 8.3 incidents per 100,000 people. The number of racial incidents within the borough is therefore down to less than one fifth of the target.”

Cllr Findley pointed out that it is commonly claimed on anti-BNP smear leaflets put out by a Communist party front organisation that racial incidents rise when BNP councillors are elected.

“These recorded facts blow away this myth,” he said, adding that a similar trend was shown to have occurred in the Barking and Dagenham borough in London after the BNP breakthrough on that council.

“I am personally delighted by these figures. One incident is one too many but a reduction of this magnitude shows that we can make a difference,” he concluded.

Ghost Vote Polling Fraud Alert—Call to BNP Voters

May 30, 2009

anti-fraud-signAll British National Party members and supporters have been urged to be on the lookout for polling station fraud committed by corrupt officials who may seek to cast ghost votes in the election on June 4th, party leader Nick Griffin has announced.

“We have received information that certain corrupt officials at some polling stations have devised a plan whereby they intend to vote on other people’s behalf towards the end of polling day,” Mr Griffin said.

“Apparently the plan is to wait until late on polling day, and then to start crossing off names of people on the electoral register who have not yet voted and then voting on their behalf,” Mr Griffin said.

“Such a scam is simple to carry out with only two corrupt officials in on it at a polling station,” he continued. “The plan also involves an escape route if the person whose name has just been crossed off comes in to vote at the last moment. The answer that has already been devised entails simply giving the voter a ballot sheet and then crossing someone else’s name off the register as having voted.

“The plan is outrageously simple to effect, and an unaware public might well be none the wiser.

“We need all members and supporters to try to vote as late in the day as possible, and then to demand to see their entries on the register.

”If anyone spots any such signs of tampering, or if they find that their names have already been crossed off, they must immediately call the police and contact the BNP by whichever means is most direct, either using the telephone hotline number 02070 783286, by email to fightback @ bnp.org.uk or by contacting a local BNP organiser or official,” Mr Griffin said.

“We know that the far left are planning all sorts of underhand tactics in the run-up to polling day, but this one is of such a severe nature that we have no choice but to publicise it,” he said.

“Together we will be able to put a spoke in their plans – but everyone must play their part.”

BNP’s Lead South West Euro Candidate Interviewed for BBC Radio 4

May 30, 2009

jeremy_wotherspoon-interviewedJeremy Wotherspoon, lead British National Party Euro election candidate in the South West, completed another milestone by becoming the first BNP MEP candidate to be interviewed for BBC Radio 4’s Beyond Westminster programme.

The interview, completed last week, took place in Taunton, Somerset, on a bench in the High Street. During the hostile interview, Mr Wotherspoon was able to highlight the BNP’s ‘Punish the Pigs’ brochure, review UKIP leader Nigel Farage’s shocking £2 million expenses claims and his own personal record of public service.

Mr Wotherspoon also reviewed the impressive qualifications of other BNP South West candidates and discussed his recent canvassing trip to Gibraltar. He did not fail to point out the difference between the Gibraltar Broadcasting Corporation and the BBC. The former approached him in an unbiased fashion, whereas the BBC never broadcasts anything about the BNP except as a smear.

Finally, Mr Wotherspoon said it was the BNP’s intention, if elected to the European Parliament, to expose the corruption that is rife within the EU and to work for Britain’s withdrawal from that organisation.

Judas Archbishops: Your Chance to Strike Back

May 30, 2009

judas-archbishopBritish National Party activists and supporters now have a chance to strike back at the Judas Archbishops who have spent so much of their time over the past few weeks spewing bile at this party.

Activists can download, print and distribute a new leaflet specially created for use at church tomorrow morning. All supporters are encouraged to make a few copies and take them to their local Church of England tomorrow morning and give copies to the vicars and any parishioners who may actually still be attending that church.

The hard-hitting leaflet reads: “Britain stands at the abyss. Our nation, identity and Christian ethos are being systematically destroyed by corrupt politicians, political correctness, aggressive Islamists and unwanted/unneeded mass immigration. The last time we faced a crisis on this scale was during World War II.

“All over the UK pews are emptying; churches are closing down and turning into mosques/ temples. Our distinctive Christian heritage is disappearing as whole regions of Britain become Islamified.

“During past crises, our national church rose to the occasion and offered hope, inspiration and moral leadership to the British people. Sadly this is no longer the case.

“The cowardly ‘yes men’, functionaries and time-servers leading the Church of England have consistently failed to lift a finger in defence of Britain against those who would destroy it.

“Cocooned in their ivory towers from any meaningful contact with the outside world, real life or ordinary people, they pass one surrender motion after another.

“Out of touch Archbishops Williams and Sentamu have demanded that the BNP be stopped, yet want the thieving politicians of the main parties to be left alone. This is immoral and inconsistent.

“Thankfully, however, few people take them seriously.

“The Church of England has consistently failed to live up to its sacred role as guardian of the soul of the British people. For this reason, it falls to us in the British National Party to call for a ‘National Day of Prayer’. We urge everyone who loves Britain to pray for our national deliverance from the difficulties in which we currently find ourselves.

“In 2nd Chronicles 7:14, the Bible says: ‘If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.’ It is time for Britain to pray. Archbishops may betray us, but God will not.

“The British National Party invites dialogue with church leaders. The massive support enjoyed by our party requires that the Church of England grow up, respect our mandate and engage us appropriately.”

Three Days in the Life of the BNP’s County Durham Outreach Team

May 29, 2009

county-durham-teamA week in the life of County Durham British National Party’s Outreach Team, as reported by super activist Pete Molloy: Thursday, 21 May — The County Durham Outreach Team went over the border to Cumbria to assist Kev Clark to leaflet parts of his county.

The leafleting team for the day consisted of Kev Clark, Adam Walker, Amanda Foster and Pete Molloy. They managed to leaflet three Cumbrian towns: Brough, Kirkby Stephen and Shap, and were very warmly received by locals everywhere.

“We’ve had an excellent day leafleting the towns, which was hard going. The response from the locals was encouraging and the rain couldn’t prevent us from delivering our message of hope to the people,” said Mr Clark after the day’s work.

After the last leaflet was delivered in Shap, the County Durham Outreach team headed back to Spennymoor to get ready for their monthly meeting where the BNP’s Greater London Assembly Member, Richard Barnbrook, had travelled up from London to be the guest speaker.

Friday 22nd May – County Durham’s Outreach Team visit the North Yorkshire market town of Stokesley to deliver the BNP’s message of hope directly to the local population.

The weather was mostly unpleasant, but that didn’t deter the party’s activists from setting up a stall on the high street in the centre of the town. Many pedestrians stopped at the stall to ask for the party’s free information packs.

County Durham’s Organiser, Adam Walker, said, “It has been interesting coming to Stokesley today, because the main enquiries have come from senior citizens and in particular those who have served our country.”

Many of the local residents approached the stall to inform the Outreach Team that they had received the Party’s national leaflet in the post that very morning. The current North East’s activist of the year, Amanda Foster, said, “An elderly lady approached me and informed me she had read our leaflet and agreed with every issue raised and that she had always in the past voted Labour, but will be voting for the British National Party from now on.”

Tuesday 26th May – Another very busy day for the North East Region’s number one candidate, Adam Walker, and his team.

The day started off with an interview in Spennymoor with BBC Tee’s reporter, Jonathan Swingler, who asked some pretty fair and relevant questions concerning Mr. Walker’s European election campaign. Speaking after the interview, Mr. Walker said, “I was expecting some really harsh irrelevant questions that had nothing to do with the European elections like I have been used to in the past. This did not happen and I am happy that BBC Tee’s listeners will get to hear what the BNP is really about.”

After the interview, it was a drive to Durham’s County Council building in Durham to hand in all the necessary paperwork to ensure all the activists would be able to enter the count, which was all in order and signed for.

The afternoon saw Mr. Walker’s team leaflet the County Durham town of Thornley, which proved to be a hotbed of support after the Sedgefield by-election. The day came to a close with Mr. Walker addressing the meeting in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.

Winston Churchill vs David Cameron: A Struggle for the Soul of the Conservative Party

May 29, 2009

tory-splitWinston Churchill on Islam

“How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy.

“The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity.

“The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.

“Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities – but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world.

“Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome.” — Winston Churchill, The River War: An Historical Account of the Reconquest of the Soudan (first edition, Vol. II, pages 248-50, London: Longmans, Green & Co., 1899).

David Cameron on Islam

“Not for the first time, I found myself thinking that it is mainstream Britain which needs to integrate more with the British (Muslim) Asian way of life, not the other way around.” — David Cameron, ‘What I learnt from my stay with a Muslim family’, The Observer, Sunday, 13 May 2007.

Winston Churchill on Europe

“Membership of the Common Market will forfeit our insular or commonwealth wide character.” — Winston Churchill, Cabinet Memorandum 29, dated November 1953.

“We are with Europe but not of it; we are linked but not compromised. We are associated but not absorbed. If Britain must choose between Europe and the open sea, she must always choose the open sea.” — Winston Churchill, House of Commons on May 11, 1953.

David Cameron on Europe

“The Single Market is a great achievement, which the Conservative Party has always strongly supported. We want an EU that looks out to the world, not in on itself. . . We will be strong defenders of the Single Market within Europe, and free trade with the rest of the world … We want to keep the doors of the EU open to new members like the Balkan states and, in due course, Turkey. — David Cameron writing in the Conservative Party’s ‘European Manifesto,’ 2009.

Winston Churchill on Immigration

“I am considering blocking all immigration to Britain because I fear a growing coloured population will pose a threat to Britain’s social stability. We do not want a parti-coloured UK.” — Winston Churchill, Cabinet Memorandum, dated February 1953.

“Problems will arise if many coloured people settle here. Are we to saddle ourselves with colour problems in UK? Immigrants are attracted here by the welfare state. Public opinion in UK won’t tolerate it once it gets beyond certain limits.” — Winston Churchill, Cabinet memorandum, February 1954.

David Cameron on Immigration

“Immigration is a good thing. Immigrants actually create more employment. As we write off our fellow citizens from participating in the workforce, other countries’ citizens take their place.

“The gaps in the labour market are, very naturally, being filled by migrant workers. That, in itself, is a good thing, not a bad thing.

“We should not try to unlock the potential of our own citizens by locking out the citizens of other countries. When willing, able and energetic people come to this country to work, they don’t crowd out other people from the labour market.

“As the Fresh Talent initiative by the Scottish Executive recognises, skilled foreign workers expand our economy and make us more competitive. Ultimately they create more employment.” — David Cameron, speech to Disability Scotland, 15 November 2006.

The British National Party – Winston Churchill’s spiritual home.

Vote BNP on 4th June 2009 and save Britain from the Tory, Labour and Lib-Dem nation-wreckers.

The “Free Press” Is Not Free, but a Biased Propaganda Channel

May 29, 2009

forked-tongueThe recent series of articles in the so-called ‘free press’ which contain a barrage of easily-disproved lies against the British National Party is something which is almost unparalleled in British political history.

Although the stories and lies are getting far too fantastic for any sane person to believe, the attempt to influence voters with a barrage of lies is of concern to anyone who holds the democratic process dear.

Most recently, the Manchester Evening News and The Times have launched co-ordinated smear campaigns against the BNP in an attempt to undermine the growing public support for this party.

These two papers – which masquerade as ‘independent media’ are good cases in point. The Manchester Evening News is owned by The Guardian Media Group, which also owns the rabidly left-wing and Labour-supporting The Guardian, The Observer, and other regional newspapers.

In other words, while the Manchester Evening News pretends to be ‘objective’ it is in fact part of the Labour Party’s propaganda empire.

The Times (and The Sun) is owned by News International Ltd, which in turn is owned by Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation. Mr Murdoch is an Australian-born American citizen whose close dealings with Labour and Tory politicians, including Margaret Thatcher, John Major, Tony Blair and David Cameron are a matter of public record.

sun-front-pageMr Murdoch’s The Sun newspaper once famously claimed that it had “won the election” for John Major in 1992 for the Tories, but in the elections since then, The Sun has supported Tony Blair and the Labour Party. In return for the Labour government changing the law on media ownership and market share, The Sun has, under the orders of Rupert Murdoch, propagandised New Labour in every election since 1995. In 1995, while Leader of the Opposition, Mr Blair disclosed in Commons Register of Interests that he has been a personal guest of Mr Murdoch, having been flown to meet in Hayman Island.

A Cabinet Office Freedom of Information request released the day after Mr Blair handed over power to Gordon Brown details how Mr Blair had various official phone calls and meetings with Mr Murdoch and Richard Desmond, owner of the Express newspaper. Mr. Desmond who also owns various pornographic magazines, donated over £100,000 to the Labour Party in 2002.

In the period between September 2002 and April 2005, Mr Blair and Mr Murdoch spoke no less than six times. Three of these conversations took place in the nine days leading up to the Iraq war, including on the evening of the invasion.

The timing of these conversations indicates strongly that Mr Murdoch was informed of the plans to launch the Iraq war before even the British Parliament, the British people and those British soldiers sent to fight it.

In August 2008, Tory leader David Cameron accepted free flights to hold private talks and attend private parties with Mr Murdoch on his yacht, the Rosehearty. The Conservative leader has declared in the Commons register of interests he accepted a private plane provided by Murdoch’s son-in-law, public relations guru, Matthew Freud. The gift of travel in the Gulfstream IV private jet was valued at around £30,000. Others guests attending the ’social events’ included Labour’s Lord Mandelson, the Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska and co-chairman of America’s NBC Universal, Ben Silverman.

The Daily Mail is owned by the Tory-supporting Daily Mail and General Trust plc whose founder, Viscount Rothermere, once famously expressed the hope that “Adolf the Great” would become a popular figure in Britain. Secret British government papers released in 2005 show that Rothermere wrote to Adolf Hitler congratulating him for the annexation of Czechoslovakia in 1938, and encouraged him to march into Romania.

The Daily Telegraph is owned by the Barclay brothers (David Frederick) although David’s son Aidan Barclay actually runs the UK business. Their Press Holdings company also owns The Business and The Spectator magazines while The Telegraph Group Limited titles (including the Sunday Telegraph) are controlled via a wholly owned subsidiary Press Acquisitions Ltd.

The Telegraph’s political stance is uniformly Tory supporting to the point where it is known colloquially as the “Torygraph.”

The ‘free press’ therefore is nothing but a corporate press, which pushes a defined political line at the behest of its owners. It fashions the news according to how it best promotes its own defined political interests, which are always either Labour or Tory in outlook. The role of the Editor is subservient to the demands of the owners. Each newspaper serves the interests primarily of its owners, not the interests of the British public or objectivity.

This is the reason why these newspapers, which fashion themselves to be ‘representative of the people’, are, in fact, little more than propaganda tools for the Tory and Labour ruling elite which has brought Britain to the brink of ruin.

Decades of mass immigration, economic mismanagement, exploitation and corruption amongst this ruling elite is now coming to the fore. The controlled media’s desperate attempts to cover up the corruption of their own clique by trying to divert attention by publishing lies about the BNP, will fail.

If there is one power in modern society which is justly called all-pervasive, it is the Media. It is not a power that equals that of Church or State, but one that increasingly towers above them. Let a cleric speak out against something dear to the hearts of media owners, and he will be blasted as “medieval” and accused of “mixing religion and politics.” Let an elected representative do the same and he will be driven from pillar to post until he either shuts up or gives up.

It is this raw power possessed by the modern Media that makes The Free Press both relevant and educational. Surveying the history of Media power in its origin, development, and corrosive influence on citizen and society, Belloc makes a powerful and persuasive case for the establishment of a Free Media, to provide a truly independent source of news and a serious discussion of ideas. Soames: Britain’s Biggest Hypocrite Attacks BNP — But Complains about Immigration

May 29, 2009

projected-population-increaseBritain’s biggest hypocrite, Nicholas Soames, who regularly attacks the British National Party, is one of the most vociferous complainants about immigration in the Tory party, and has just released a report saying that 90 percent of all immigrants choose England before any other home nation in Britain.

According to Mr Soames’ ‘Cross Party Group for Balanced Migration’, England is the destination of choice for more than 90 percent of all immigrants entering Britain. Of the more than 2.3 million legal immigrants who have flooded Britain in recent times, England absorbed the vast majority, taking 2,149,000, or 92 percent.

That is nearly 20 times as many as Scotland, despite the population of England being only 10 times larger. The figure for Scotland was 105,000; Wales was 56,000 and Northern Ireland 27,000.

England took 11 times more than Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland combined, even though its population is only five times larger.

Predictions of future numbers suggest an even greater imbalance. They indicate that England will account for 95 percent of the expected population increase across the UK by 2051, including seven million immigrants.

In a press release, Mr Soames whined that the government was guilty of “inaction. This research shows that immigration is overwhelmingly an issue for England rather than other parts of the UK,” Mr Soames said.

Inadvertently condemning his own Tory party at the same time, Mr Soames continued by saying that the “political establishment is in denial on immigration — even though it is of concern to nearly 80 percent of the population.

“If they are to reconnect with the people of England after the current political crisis, politicians must end their timidity, silence and inaction on this critical issue.”

The reality is that the British National Party is the only political party which has dared to say what people on the street are thinking: that Britain is full up and can no longer absorb any more immigration.

For daring to say this, Mr Soames and his colleagues have tried to demonise the BNP (an attempt which has failed) – yet these are the very issues that he berates his own and other parties for refusing to address.

The voters will be able to make their own judgement on who is the hypocrite and who is speaking the truth on June 4th, when everyone throughout the country will have the opportunity of voting BNP.
