Info is relayed via a skin patch to your mobile which is then uploaded to a " SECURE website" They claim that it will give the same specialist care only inpatients get- yet what medic will have time to monitor millions of patients on the website? So who exactly will be tracking which`particular` groups of patients- those invoved in developing the memory ersasing drug?

Imprisonment's key punishment is, supposedly, the removal of freedom. How on earth does being allowed full suffrage whilst doing time equate to loss of freedom?

They moan about binge drinkers but THEY extended pub opening hours. They moan about drug abuse but THEY relaxed drug laws.

They moan about the BNP but if you just do the exact opposite of what this pathetic government advises you wont go wrong.

Oh dear. The sad-sacks that are running this country have now shown their true desperation.

If they had any real balls, they would disallow this to happen.

However, as was said recently by Harm-man, they are desperate for people to turn out in their numbers to vote this June, because of proportional representation.

So, all members of the disproportionately large number of BMEs in prison will be able to vote for the party that has made their life inside so soft.

I completely agree with you, Grumpygit. Did you read of the anti-social druggies and alcoholics who were evicted recently from a council house in Cornwall? Guess what – the little dears will have to be re-housed by -yes, you guessed it – the council tax payers! One of the problems with a densely populated country such as ours now is, is that it is not easy to 'shun' anybody, however vile they are. The detritus of society are merely shuffled around to cause mayhem and misery elsewhere.
The consequence of this is that we all have to put up with them, pay for them, and listen to the apologists for them. Let's hope for a few rays of sanity to break through soon – on June 4th perhaps?

Perhaps the reason for this rule change is that the politicians know they will soon be doing Porridge and they want to make sure their voices are heard from behind bars. Clearly the criminals believe they need the support of other criminals to stay in office.
