Cumbria’s Operation Outreach Runs Seven Days a Week
The Cumbria British National Party branch which is already one of the most active wings of the party, is upping its work rate even more.
Yesterday, Saturday 18 April, saw three high visibility information stalls out in Whitehaven, Carlisle. North West Euro candidate, Mike Elliot, and his wife Debbie set up the first ever BNP information stall in Brampton.
“It cannot be overstated how important high visibility campaigning is to the progression of the British National Party,” said North West BNP organiser Clive Jefferson. “In the run-up to June’s vital elections, Operation Outreach will be operating seven days a week.”
Mr Jefferson added that Cumbria will also be increasing its leafleting and mobile outreach leafleting units. “They were out yesterday from 9am all over Cumbria, with the main team only stopping at 5pm when they ran out of literature,” he said.
“”The exciting thing about this campaign is that as each day goes by more people are becoming active and morale is sky high. We are working very hard but enjoying it, and the momentum is building. We all met up at 6pm last night and the issue to be decided wasn’t ‘when we would be going out again’ — it was ‘where are we going in the morning!’”
