BNP Scotland Raises the Standard

April 21, 2009 - By BNP News

bnp-flag-glasgowSaturday 18th saw the unfurling and inaugural presentation of a brand new and high quality ceremonial flag. It bears the BNP roundel, and is handmade by skilled British craftsmen.

The flag was raised for the first time in Buchanan Street, Glasgow, and received a very positive response from the public.

BNP Scotland has been busy over the past ten days. Tuesday 7th April saw the team in Buchanan Street and Friday 10th saw the team again distributing leaflets throughout the city centre.

On Saturday 11th, two of our Euro-candidates travelled to Carlisle for a media training day. The team was back in action on Wednesday 15th, and distributed over 1,000 leaflets in Glasgow city centre.

Saturday 18th saw a group of BNP Scotland activists – including Euro candidates Charlie Baillie and Max Dunbar – distribute over 1,000 leaflets in Alva and Stirling town centres.

As usual our activists dealt satisfactorily with a wide range of questions on policy issues from an interested public.

Euro-candidate Charlie Baillie said, “The BNP is the only political party in Scotland which is campaigning on the streets and alerting the public to the fact that the Euro-elections are on Thursday 4th June.

“At this important election, Scotland is one constituency. This means everyone in Scotland will get a chance to vote for the BNP.

“Every vote counts towards the percentage necessary to put a British National Party candidate from Scotland in the European Parliament. So please put that date in your diary and remember to Vote BNP!”
