Few more things…there is no such thing as the UN Charter of Human Rights…do you mean the Universal Declaration of HR? This is 'soft law', and is not binding. More states have signed up to the Int'l Covenant on Civil and Political Rights which was written under the auspices of the UN.

The European Court of Human Rights' judgments are binding in international law contrary to the above (the Convention being a treaty), and can be enforced by the Committee of Ministers, Council of Europe (separate institution altogether from the European Union).

This goes hand in hand with the Gov`t making police doctors` ( FME) contracts unworkable so that since January 2009, there is no medical assessment for those held in custody….just a 3 week course for " other health professionals" obviously a hospital mortuary porter comes to mind.
Presumably if police brutality can`t be filmed and there`s no doctor to record injuries in stations, let alone prescribe vital medicine, oppostion can be ruthlessly suppressed without evidence.
In addition, it`ll permit the police to diagnose mental illness and insist a person be admitted to mental hospital despite a psychiatrist`s reservations because police ` descretion` has been extended to this as well.

I don`t know how to articulate this , nor my anger.
Today in my south London leisure centre I saw 2 posters 4 by 5 ft by the Met Police. The language was oppressive and threatening in the vein of WE WANT TO TALK TO YOU, I can`t recall exactly unfortunately,but it had the instant effect of making me apprhensive, though I had done something wrong. It was to promote a pledge- note, not job description- to listen to our call for help, then investigate the crime.The obvious intention is to notch up the paranoia of the lawful citizen going about a harmless activity, otherwise the language would be WE`RE HERE TO HELP TO MAKE LONDONERS SAFE etc

The 'Leading Beyond Authority' courses by Common Purpose create situations where so-called responsible people not only exceed their authority, but also far exceed their abilities. Sadly, this seems true of some police forces, whose senior officers and Police Authorities are clearly not 'fit for purpose'. This is evidently designed to undermine public confidence in the efficacy of traditional British policing and prepare the ground for the introduction of the para-military gendarmerie of the EUSSR.

We shouldn't be surprised at the subversion of the police as described in this article. I recall reading in the national press that when MI5 recently mounted a recruitment drive amongst the Asian and Islamic people in Britain – surprise! surprise! – the positive vetting process revealed well over 200 applicants belonged to or were associated with Islamic terrorist organisations intent on subverting this Intelligence Service! Since some are willing Al Quaida-trained, suicide bombers, these terrorist groups will not shy from carrying out a spot of 'deep entryism' successfully used by some marxists and anarcho-syndicalists to subvert the Labour Party to their own traitorous ideological position.

The clear answer to restoring national security is to return a BNP Government. The 'Old Gang' parties have demonstrated that their unwillingness to do what is necessary to maintain a decent system of Law & Order. Let's have a Government that meets the needs of the people – not the corrupt aspirations of Common Purpose!

What amazes me is how can a jumped up secret circle known as ACPO,which itself is being looked at for having bent outside intrests,dictate on who should be a member of what.A judge with any salt would laugh this dismissal out of court,and give the former officer his job back with a few hundred thousand pounds in compensation.THAT WOULD STOP ANY WITCHUNT DEAD IN ITS TRACKS.

I`m filled with awe for all these citizens who care enough to stick their heads above the parapit to warn we indiginous, and the time and effort spent doing such patriot acts. Likewise, I feel exactly the same for all BNP family who do the same for those of us who don`t have the technical skill or courage, to post so many links, on so many sites, so that patriots like me can learn, it`s truely inspiring. Thank you contributors, and thank you Ed( B) and Ed Simon.Bit by bit, I`m developing courage to get involved in a more practicle manner.

will someone explain to me how a serving police officer can be fired because of an "alleged" affiliation with a bonefide, legal political party??
