Four Candidates Come Forward at BNP Portsmouth Meeting
Four new candidates for the British National Party in Portsmouth presented themselves at the party’s regular meeting last week.
The meeting, chaired by Roger Knight, the Portsmouth organiser, also organised the membership into leafleting teams, ready for the European Elections.
“It is so important to get all of our people out to vote,” said South East regional organiser Mr Andrew McBride.
“In the 1940s, our forbears gave so much so we could have our freedoms. It’s now time to repay this debt,” he said. “Let not your grandchildren ask what did you do to save our country in its hour of need.”
“Even our elderly and less active members can achieve a huge amount by addressing envelopes ready for dispersal,” he said.
When Mr McBride mentioned that Portsmouth had council elections this year and that the party needed candidates, the four volunteers raised their hands immediately.
