The Foreign Aid Scandal: £15 Million to “Gender Equality” in Uganda

February 28, 2009

DFID RELIEF FOR HAIBritish taxpayers will be ecstatic to learn that they have contributed another £15 million to promoting “gender equality” in Uganda – the latest foreign aid scandal which has cost the people of this country billions while our own elderly cannot afford to pay heating bills.

According to a press release issued by the Department for International Development (DFID), £15 million of British taxpayers’ money has been given to a joint UN programme “that will improve gender equality in Uganda.”

At a press conference in Kampala, UK International Development Secretary Ivan Lewis announced: “The UK is committed to improving opportunities for women in Uganda. Faster progress on gender equality is vital for Uganda to achieve middle-income country status and realise the Millennium Development Goals.”

Indeed – but what about British pensioners who cannot afford to pay their heating bills? What about training British people who are unemployed? What about helping the National Health Service to run efficiently by paying staff decent wages? The list goes on.

This £15 million waste on “gender equality in Uganda” is but part of the lavish budget with which successive Tory and Labour governments have played Father Christmas all over the world to ungrateful Third World nations – with British peoples’ money.

The DFID is headed by a Cabinet minister and has two headquarters (in London and East Kilbride, near Glasgow) and 64 offices overseas. It has over 2500 staff, almost half of whom work abroad.

The UK has become the largest contributor to the International Development Association (IDA), which provides credits and grants to around 80 of the poorest countries in the world, committing £2.134 billion for the three years 2008/9 to 2010/11.

In September 2007, the Secretary of State announced a commitment of £1 billion to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis (TB) and Malaria (GFATM). As part of this commitment, the UK will provide £360 million for the period 2008-2010, which is a twenty percent increase on current funding.

British foreign aid (your tax money) to Africa is set to more than double from £1.3 billion in 2004 to over £3 billion by 2010. This has included aid to Zimbabwe, whose elected government hates Britain and blames it for all its troubles.

The DFID also gives away over £100 million of your tax money every year to United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

The UK government will provide an additional £100 million of your tax money over the next five years to the United Nations Population Fund to “improve reproductive health and to give women real choices.”

In December 2007, UK taxpayers contributed £417 million to the African Development Fund (AfDF) and became its largest donor.

The DFID’s contribution to the Afghanistan Reconstruction Trust Fund has helped ensure that 5.4 million Afghan children are now gaining an education, while in Pakistan, a nation which is rich enough to have atom bombs, British taxpayers support seven national priority health and population welfare programmes.

In India, another nation which not only has nuclear weapons but whose industrialists own Jaguar and many other “British” industries, the British taxpayer pays for the Government of India’s universal elementary education programme, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), which has put more than 27 million Indian children in school.

The DFID has also spent £30 million of your tax money supporting the United Nations Peacebuilding Fund which “addresses threats in Burundi, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Guinea-Conakry, the Central African Republic and Cote d’Ivoire.”

The DFIF also spent another £200 million on “humanitarian response in Africa: major recipients were Sudan, DRC, Zimbabwe and Uganda.”

British taxpayers are the source of the single largest contribution to the Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF) which provided nearly $350 million (£174m) to meet “humanitarian needs in 60 countries in 2007.”

Excluding the various handouts which are made over and above the direct aid (such as trade partnership subsidies and the like), the DFID’s budget has been set at £7.9 billion a year.

British people struggle to pay their lights, water and gas, have increasingly Third World healthcare, are suffering the effects of the single greatest financial catastrophe since the great depression, are losing their homes . . . yet the criminal traitors in Westminster, Tory and Labour alike, see fit to dish out untold billions to other nations.

The time has come to put British people first — and the only party which is unequivocally committed to this goal is the British National Party.

Only when the needs of all of our people are met, can thought be given to any sort of foreign aid.

The Discordances of the Euro Play Havoc with European Nations

February 28, 2009

euronoWill Ireland and Greece be expelled from the European Monetary Union (EMU) and the Euro zone? Will the rest of the EU – Britain included – have to pick up the tab for the inherent flaws in the system?

These are the questions observers are asking in light of comments made by Professor Karl Otto Pohl, former president of the German Bundesbank, to the effect that countries such as Ireland and Greece are in danger of defaulting on their obligations to the Euro zone.

Speaking to the media, Professor Pohl, a former proponent of the Euro and the EMU, admitted the Euro was under intense pressure and heavily indebted countries could be forced out of the single currency.

“I think there are countries considering the possibility. It would be very expensive,” he said. “The exchange rate would go down, 50 or 60 percent and then interest rates would go sky high because the markets would lose all confidence.”

Professor Pohl did not elaborate on exactly why currencies fall sixty percent – unless he meant that they are already hugely overvalued. As one economic commentator remarked in the media: “If they are massively overvalued by anything like this amount – or even half – how can they possibly rectify this within the eurozone?

“Is Germany going to inflate at ten percent to let them claw back competitiveness? Of course not. This is pure madness.”

According to a report by the Centre for European Policy Studies, many ministers are suggesting that these tensions could lead to a break-up of the EMU.

The cost of such a break-up would be massive. While the CEPS says that it will not happen “for the simple reason that the cost of breaking away would be prohibitive for a country (Italy) with such a high public debt,” others are not so sure.

The inherent flaw in the EMU is that one interest rate cannot work for every part of it, especially those with different economic and social structures, like Germany and Italy. This is not problematic when the economy is doing well, but during a recession, it would very well be terminal.

Even though Britain is not formally part of the EMU, the fallout of a collapse in the system will affect this country, as any rescue plan will have to be approved – and most likely funded – by the EU itself. Britain is of course a member of that monstrosity, so British taxpayers better be prepared to fork out even more billions for yet another failed globalist agenda gone wrong.

Islamic Colonisation of Britain: Most British Mosques Led by Foreign Clerics

February 28, 2009

birmigham-central-mosqueA new study has shown how the Islamic colonisation of Britain is proceeding with most mosques in this country being run by clerics who are “physically in Britain but psychologically in Pakistan.”

The research shows that 97 percent of imams were from overseas, with 92 percent educated abroad, largely in Pakistan or Bangladesh.

Almost half the mosques failed to provide facilities for Muslim women, and 44 percent were not giving a lecture in English before weekly prayers.

The work was carried out by the Quilliam Foundation, a government-funded Muslim group which has been set up to try and con the public into thinking that the Islamic invasion poses no threat to this country.

Although it wanted to survey 1,000 of Britain’s 1,600 mosques, the Foundation said it could only poll 500 due to difficulties with making contact.

“Most British mosques don’t maintain a reception or service to answer questions, and not every one we did reach was willing to answer,” writes Quilliam’s Co-Director Ed Husain in The Times.

Mr Husain says that while most of the Muslims in Britain are under 25, “Britain’s mosques are run by men who are physically in Britain, but psychologically in Pakistan.”

He adds: “Large numbers of British mosques are not properly registered with the Charity Commission, imams work with children without Criminal Record Bureau checks, and mosque buildings flout health and safety regulations. Would other schools or churches get away with this?”

Mr Husain warns of an Islamic “underworld” in Britain, and says almost all of the seminaries are training the next generation of imams — most of whom, unlike the current clerics, will speak English — in a highly conservative form of Islam.

He concludes: “Labour politicians are only too keen to campaign for the Muslim vote in mosques in Blackburn, Manchester and Bradford while turning a blind eye to the failure that surrounds their constituents. For how much longer?”

* While the Quilliam Foundation was set up by government (i.e. your taxpayer money) to “combat Islamic extremism” it does not seem to be doing much good.

Reports like the one above just issued by that Foundation merely confirm what everyone else already knows: that Britain is being colonised by foreigners, and that the only party committed to halting and reversing the process is the British National Party.

Labour “in Panic over Meltdown before BNP Advance in Cumbria”

February 28, 2009

bnp-cup-of-teaLabour Party sources in Cumbria have confirmed an “absolute panic” in those ranks over the British National Party’s remorseless advance and have issued warnings that they face “total meltdown” at the polls in what was traditionally one of its safest regions.

The Labour source said its party’s councillors were all preparing themselves for the worst at the next elections, and expected to be swept from the board by the upcoming BNP challenge.

The panic is reflected in an article in The Independent newspaper (the same one which attempted to lie about the BNP in a photograph caption last weekend) entitled “Is the bnp becoming Cumbria’s cup of tea?”

The article discussed how super BNP activist Alistair Barbour has taken six weeks leave to work flat out for the party in the run-up to the Euro and local elections and of the incredibly positive response he has received.

The paper reports “But most doors are opened and Mr Barbour is given a friendly reception. For the past six weeks, he has been pounding the streets full-time, talking to the ward’s 3,500 voters ahead of a by-election this Thursday.”

The Independent says that Mr Barbour’s agenda is restoring weekly bin collections, repairing broken streetlights, filling potholes in the road, tackling litter in the street and cleaning up the dog dirt. “But of those who are pleased to see him, almost all want to talk about something else: the BNP’s policy of housing British people before immigrants and giving pensioners priority on hospital waiting lists,” the article says.

Quoting several voters, The Independent reports that the mood is definitely shifting. “I’ve always voted Labour,” says Winifred Elliott, 80, opening the door of her terraced house on Wigton Road, “but look at the state of the country. Immigration is the main thing and Labour have made that worse. I’ll definitely vote for you.”

“We’re too small a country to take this number of immigrants,” says Thomas Brecken, 85, “and as for the EU we definitely want to be out of it.”

“It’s really great that you are giving the area so much attention,” says Amanda Fisher, 25, a programme support manager in the NHS, who sports a curved bar through her lower lip. “No one else bothers to come round. With all my piercings, I know about stereotypes and it’s clear that what you stand for is nothing like the stereotype people have of you.”

The Independent points out that these are “far from isolated views. At the last election in west Cumbria two months ago, the BNP came within 16 votes of overturning a majority of more than 1,000 in what used to be one of the safest Labour county council seats in the region, in the Kells and Sandwith ward of Whitehaven.

“Revealingly, the party drew support from both the massive run-down council estate of Kells and the village of Sandwith, a previously Tory area. The BNP’s electoral success there is part of a nationwide shift in fortunes. Earlier this month, the party captured a Labour council seat in Sevenoaks in Kent and had a near miss in the London borough of Bexley. It took 28 percent of the vote at Thringstone in Leicestershire. And it is now beefing up its electoral machine across the country ahead of the local elections in June.”

The paper then poses the question: what has brought about this change in the fortunes of the BNP, which was once regarded as an electoral no-hoper?

“Just three or four years ago when we gave out anti-immigration leaflets people wouldn’t take them or just ripped them up,” admits Clive Jefferson, the party’s North West elections officer. “But we have offered the electorate a viable alternative, common-sense policies and candidates who are normal people who live amongst them. They can see that we’re not tattooed skinhead thugs. And a lot of people agree with what we’re saying.”

The paper goes on to say that the “evidence on the streets of Carlisle seems to bear out that contention. At one point, Mr Barbour was stopped across the road from the Cumberland Infirmary by a middle-aged woman. “Until recently I thought the BNP were just a bunch of racist swine,” Mandy Foster, 42, an office systems administrator said. “But I knew Alistair, who lives locally, and knew he was a good bloke and thought if he had got involved it was worth taking a look at. When you look at the way people can’t get jobs, everything is crime-ridden and there is nothing for the kids on the street to do, the BNP are the only party who are honest about all that. I think the party has really changed.”

Cumbria: a place to watch!

Another Stoke Tory Arrested — This Time for Corruption

February 28, 2009

roger-ibbsThe leader of the Conservative and Independent Alliance on Stoke-on-Trent council, Roger Ibbs, has been arrested for corruption. The arrest and subsequent bailing of Mr Ibbs follows the news last month that his deputy leader, Lee Wanger, has been placed in the child sex offender’s list for subscribing to a child pornography website.

Officers from the Staffordshire Police Major Investigations Department arrested Mr Ibbs on Thursday morning. According to local media reports, the police were called in by senior officers at Stoke-on-Trent City Council following a lengthy internal inquiry.

Mr Ibbs, of Kingsway, Stoke, holds the portfolio for children and young people’s services — something best left out of his deputy’s hands, no doubt.

He was arrested on suspicion of corruption in public office. A police spokesman said: “In December, Stoke-on-Trent City Council referred a matter to Staffordshire Police following an internal inquiry that may indicate criminal offences.

“The force’s major investigations department is conducting a thorough, objective and detailed investigation into the matter and have secured the advice of special case lawyers in the Crown Prosecution Service. As part of the investigation, it has been necessary to ask a man to help us with our inquiries.”

His group’s deputy leader, Councillor Wanger (he of the child porn) said: “I am very shocked. “I have known Roger for a very long time and cannot believe there is any truth to these allegations.”

Mr Ibbs had been expected to mount a challenge for the new post of council leader when elected mayor Mark Meredith steps down in June. This appears increasingly unlikely as events unfold, further opening the opportunity for the BNP’s ever popular Stoke councillor Alby Walker to take the post.

Political Establishment Has No Idea of Built Up Public Resentment, Says BNP Deputy Leader

February 27, 2009

bnp-oswestry“The ‘mainstream’ political establishment simply has no idea of the level of simmering resentment, humiliation and anger at what has been done to this country,” said British National Party deputy leader Simon Darby

Speaking at the first BNP meeting of this year in Oswestry last night, Mr Darby said that the British people are normally very reserved. “They will put up with an awful lot of things that others simply would not tolerate.

“There are parts of Birmingham I simply cannot even drive through now because it upsets me too much just to see what has happened. There are so many people who feel exactly the same way as we do and they don’t like being lied to.”

Mr Darby, who is the lead Euro election candidate in the West Midlands, which includes Oswestry, said that in the 2004 Euro elections, just 442 people from that town had voted for the BNP.

“Considering that there are forty people here tonight, and talking to people from around here, it would appear that this figure is going to grow significantly in June,” Mr Darby said.

“People have already made up their minds to vote BNP and despite the inevitable blackmail, arm twisting and downright lies that is exactly what they are going to do.”

North Shropshire organiser Phil Reddall appealed for half a dozen people to form a local leafleting team, and was pleasantly surprised when in excess of that number volunteered on the spot.

He also auctioned a toy golly which raised £40. This was topped off by the losing bidder paying in another £40 even though he had lost.

The collection raised an outstanding £274.47, which will enable the BNP in this part of Shropshire to get a kick start in the run-up to the election campaign. The BNP will have at least one local candidate, he added.

North Birmingham Re-launches in Style

February 27, 2009

north-birm-bnpAn indication of the spread of the BNP throughout the country came with the spectacular re-launch of North Birmingham BNP last Wednesday.

A packed room welcomed new North Birmingham organiser Mark Powers as he hosted the first BNP meeting in that part of the city for quite some time.

First guest speaker was Nuneaton Councillor Martyn Findley who spoke about his council work. He received a huge round of applause when he informed the room that he donated his recent pay rise to charity after voting against the increase.

After a short break, party chairman Nick Griffin held a question and answer session which gave many of the new members in the room the opportunity to pose questions on a wide range of topics.

Fundholder Carl Brisker announced that hundreds of pounds had been raised with a raffle and collection which topped off a great evening.

Birmingham now has three hard working groups covering the whole city. Judging by recent record meeting attendance, new membership applications and general inquiries, the future bodes well for the BNP in this city.

The “Surreal Civil War” — Muslims with Midlands and Yorkshire Accents Fight for Taliban

February 27, 2009

moderate-muslim-in-britainAs the sad news breaks that another three British soldiers have been killed in the Tory and Labour-supported illegal war in Afghanistan, intelligence briefings have confirmed that Muslims from Britain are fighting alongside the Taliban.

According to the briefings, at least 4000 Muslims from Britain have gone to Afghanistan via Pakistan. Their Midlands and Yorkshire accents have been detected on radio intercepts.

The news comes hot on the heels of the revelation that Muslims in Britain are responsible for the construction of trigger mechanisms for roadside bombs — just like the one which killed the three British soldiers who died yesterday.

Senior military sources have described the situation as that of a “surreal mini-civil war” in Helmand Province.

MI5 has estimated that up to 4000 British Muslims have travelled to Pakistan and Afghanistan for military training, with dozens switching to the front line.

One senior military source was quoted as saying that intelligence officers had been hearing more voices speaking in Pakistani accents such as Punjabi, Urdu and Kashmiri Urdu rather than Pashtu, the official Afghan language.

He said: “There appears to be more men from other parts of Pakistan fighting with the Taliban than just the Pashtuns who have tribal allegiances with the Afghan Pashtuns.

“It is this group, the Urdu, Punjabi speakers, etc, who fall back into English in, for example, Brummie accents. You get the impression that they have been told not to talk in English but sometimes simply can’t help it.”

RAF spy planes have intercepted conversations of Taliban fighters and the intelligence gained has led officials to believe the Muslims from Britain are mounting missions against British and Western targets in the war zone.

The latest British deaths bring to 148 the number of soldiers killed in this illegal and immoral war, supported by both Tory and Labour parties.

The BNP undertakes to honour the memory of these dead servicemen by ensuring that the politicians responsible for this outrage are speedily put on trial for war crimes and are punished fully for their crimes against humanity and the British nation.

Solidarity Holds Its 2009 AGM

February 27, 2009

solidarity-protestThe Third Annual Conference of Solidarity, the autonomous British Workers’ Union took place in Durham on February 21st 2009.

General Secretary Patrick Harrington gave an encouraging report of continued growth in the past year. Membership had increased from 211 at the last AGM to 436 to date.

“The union has had a number of successes in representing members in disputes with their employers,” Mr Harrington said. “In the coming year we intend to train up more regional representatives to cope with the increased demand.

“Members who have been helped by the union only have to imagine what would have happened to them if Solidarity wasn’t there for them. They would have been unrepresented or worse, ‘represented’ by a disinterested union or one that hates them and their politics.”

Solidarity has built up a considerable caseload which will in due course stand it in good stead when the union applies to the Certification Office for a Certificate of Independence.

Mr Harrington said that the union had quickly responded to the recent wildcat strikes. These disaffected trade unionists have been let down by the TUC affiliates who are embarrassed by the strikers’ demand for British jobs for British Workers.

“These sentiments are more in tune with Solidarity’s consistent position than with Unite — compromised as it is by its links with and financial support for NuLab and Gordon Brown,” Mr Harrington said.

Two motions came up for discussion. One advocated the abolition of the six-monthly subscription for members. The second proposed setting up three regional teams to promote the union at demonstrations up and down the country in support of the aims of disaffected British workers. Both resolutions were passed.

There was also a long discussion and debate regarding the wave of “Wildcat” strikes and the attitude and position of our Union brotherhood towards them.

Solidarity President, Adam Walker closed the meeting with a rousing forward-looking call to members to do all to promote the union. He reminded them that individuals can be picked off one by one by the bosses.

“Solidarity offers collective strength and insurance to those brothers and sisters who join us. Talk to your friends and workmates and sign them up,” he urged “for together we are strong!”

Not a member of Solidarity? It only costs £5 per month. You can click here to join online, or you can pay for the year by cheque (£60 full-time workers/£36 part-time workers/students). Mail to: Solidarity Trade Union, P O Box 93, Spennymoor, DL16 9AN.

* Solidarity has also called for a consumer boycott of Total petrol stations. Total are pursuing a policy against the interests of British workers in the allocation of jobs. Till they heed the voice of people concerned at job losses and unfair foreign competition consumers should not buy their products. President Walker took part in a protest which sets the example for what should be happening up-and-down the country, and lodged this video report:

First They Cause Terrorism — Now They Take Away Your Liberties to Combat It

February 27, 2009

sir_david_omandTerrorism in Britain is the direct result of Tory and Labour-supported mass immigration combined with a biased foreign policy which antagonises Muslims in Britain and abroad-and now civil liberties are to be curtailed to fight terrorists.

“Citizens will have to sacrifice their right to privacy in the fight against terrorism,” Sir David Omand, the Cabinet Office’s former security and intelligence co-ordinator has announced.

He said that in future the security services would need access to a wide range of personal data, including phone records, emails and travel information.

In a research paper on national security strategy, Sir David wrote: “Finding out other people’s secrets is going to involve breaking everyday moral rules.”

The document for the Institute for Public Policy think tank outlines plans to track terrorist groups through a state database which would also contain the details of innocent people.

He wrote: “Modern intelligence access will often involve intrusive methods of surveillance and investigation, accepting that, in some respects this may have to be at the expense of some aspects of privacy rights.”

The “intrusive” surveillance techniques would involve mining databases for information on airline bookings and other travel data, passport and biometric data, immigration, identity and border records, criminal records and other government and private sector data, including financial and telephone and other communications records.

For many observers, Sir David’s announcement is the height of cheek, seeing as successive Tory and Labour governments are the ones directly responsible for the rise in terrorism in this country.

It is mass Third World immigration which has created the population pool inside this country from which Islamists can recruit. Both Tory and Labour parties have been complicit in this policy.

Now that there are millions of foreigners inside Britain, the same Tory and Labour Party leaders have engaged in foreign policy misadventures, such as the illegal Iraq war, which have achieved nothing except to antagonise the entire Muslim world against Britain.

Is it any wonder then that Muslims born or living in Britain have been responsible for the terrorist incidents which have plagued this country over the last few years? Can the establishment figures be so blind as to not see this obvious truth?

Now, the state seeks to take away everybody’s basic civil liberties and privacy in an attempt to “combat terrorism”–which the state itself has created!

The British National Party is the only party which has the answer to terrorism in Britain, namely a just and fair solution to the immigration invasion and a commitment to an unbiased foreign policy.

Only when both of these issues are addressed, will Britain be safe from internal Islamist aggression-and nothing else.

The Trafalgar Club Takes to the Seas

February 27, 2009

trincomalee4The weekend of the 21st February saw the Trafalgar Club, the UK’s leading patriotic fundraising group, in Hartlepool for an event that was very much in keeping with the Club’s nautical and naval theme.

The setting for the dinner on Saturday night was HMS Trincomalee, a fully-restored 1817 British frigate, which is the oldest British warship still afloat. The ship has been renovated in a multi-million pound project that has seen it restored to its original glory.

Trafalgar Club member were treated to a guided tour of the ship before the dinner and the tour of all parts of the ship really showed how this has been money well spent.

Perhaps the most immediate thing that was noticed by the members after getting on board was how low the ceilings were. Thankfully, aside from the odd bumped head, no major injuries were reported! Yet this really gave an insight into how life aboard a ship such as this during the period was unlike anything we can imagine today.

The guide also revealed how many common phrases that we use today had their origins in life aboard ship, expressions such as “paying through the nose”, “shake a leg” and “three square meals a day.”

After the fascinating tour, the members were taken to the Captain’s Table on the ship, the setting for their dinner which featured a beautiful panoramic view of Hartlepool Marina and the members chose from a menu which included roast sirloin of prime Scottish beef, sugar baked Yorkshire ham and Parisienne dressed poached Scottish salmon.

After a wonderful night of catching up with old friends and making the acquaintance of new ones, BNP Chairman Nick Griffin gave a short speech at the end of the evening which covered such themes as the recent Sevenoaks by-election victory and the use of black propaganda by anti-British forces.

The Sunday saw members visiting the Captain Cook Birthplace Museum in Middlesbrough. The museum featured an array of Cook based artefacts and also many multimedia presentations which told the life of this famous British son of the sea.

New Trafalgar Club organiser Lee Hancock hailed the weekend as a success: “The ship was absolutely stunning and it was the perfect location for a club that celebrates Britain’s proud naval tradition. All of the guests I spoke to really enjoyed the weekend and said it was a privilege to dine on a genuine part of British history.”

This North East event was the second in the Trafalgar Club’s continuing plan of offering its members events around the country during the year in addition to the annual black-tie dinner in October.

For those who would like to become part of Britain’s premier patriotic club, please contact The Secretary, PO Box 598, Worcester, WR4 4AS, trafalgar@bnp.org.uk or by visiting the Trafalgar Club website in the “HOW TO HELP” section at the top of this page.

British National Party By-Election Report

February 27, 2009

THE British National Party’s vote share in last night’s Greasley ward by-election keeps the Party on course for gaining a seat for the East Midlands in the European Parliament.

But it was a close run thing!

The BNP need a 13% vote share across the East Midlands on June 4th to get that MEP, and in Broxtowe our candidate Wayne Shelbourn and his team managed to reach that target by the skin of their teeth.

The full result was:
BROXTOWE COUNCIL
Greasley (Giltbrook & Newthorpe) ward

Penny Spencley-Stevens (Con) 1125
Ed Jacobs (Lab) 600

Wayne Shelbourn (BNP) 301

Gwen Robb (Lib-Dem) 232
Keith Marriott (UKIP) 31

BNP Percentage: 13.1%

It was a keenly contested by-election with the Labour Party working particularly hard even bringing in local MP Nick Palmer, and Amber Valley MP Judy Mallaber, to organise the full canvassing of the ward.

Greasley is a safe Tory seat and it was held with a comfortable majority in spite of this big push from Labour.

For members and supporters of the British National Party, the result provides a much-needed reality check – nothing comes easily in nationalist politics.

After our wins in Boston and Swanley, near misses in Durham, Whitehaven, Ibstock and Bexley, and the substantial votes polled in Newcastle and Manchester, people might be starting to think that excellent BNP election results can achieved by just filling in a nomination form. That is certainly not the case.

In each of these contests, every voter was canvassed, every door was knocked upon, thousands of voters were spoken to on their doorstep, and then on polling day there was a meticulous plan of action put into place to make sure our support actually went and voted.

Of course it’s not always possible to conduct such intense campaigns, and with a Party like the BNP, which gets attacks from so many quarters, when we can’t pull out all the stops in a by-election then this will be reflected in our vote.

In Broxtowe out team fought a very good campaign with the resources available and organiser Nina Brown reports over 30 enquiries for membership, which if actually turned into new recruits will boost the numbers in the local campaign team for the next election there whenever it is.

The night was another disaster for UKIP with their candidate receiving a derisory 31 votes, just 1.4%.

Four more by-elections next Thursday with two in Carlisle, one in Newcastle-under-Lyme and one in Atherstone. Just like last night, it’s again all about BNP vote share and our activists in these areas will be out at the weekend trying to build our support so that we can reach those targets.

How can they be Fair in the “Kremlin”?

February 26, 2009

the-manchester-kremlin-newBy Derek Adams.  Labour-controlled Manchester city council has revealed just how far they intend to pursue their policy of blatant discrimination against the British National Party, who of course are the only true representatives of the indigenous population of the North West.

During elections, registered political parties are allowed to use public buildings for electioneering purposes and the BNP chose to exercise that right by booking a room, at a cost of £350, in Manchester town hall.

A large selection of rooms at Manchester town hall are available for hire to the general public or virtually any other group; indeed far-left groups such as Searchlight, The Socialist Workers Party and MUAF hold regular meetings there with the blessing, and often even the participation, of Labour councillors.

The room the BNP had booked, Committee Room 4, was to be used to select the candidates for the North-West European elections, however the ‘Left wing Mafia’ that run Manchester town hall took it upon themselves to ban the BNP from using the public building that they have come to consider as their own.

Manchester BNP Organiser Derek Adams booked the room at the town hall and even obtained a signed confirmation of the contract dated 16/2/2009, which was signed in the presence of himself and a witness at the town hall. Indeed, Derek was even shown the room allocated to the party.

One week later, and well after all the arrangements had been made for the event, a curt e-mail was sent to Derek which read “Thank you for your correspondence, unfortunately we are unable to accept your booking.”

The BNP have since tried to find out who made the decision to ban the party from using our public building and on what grounds; as yet nobody inside the town hall will own up to instigating this politically-motivated ban.

This action by persons unknown should send shivers down the spine of all those who value democracy, because it raises doubts about how the staff at Manchester town hall can possibly be trusted to be unbiased during the forthcoming European Elections when they are treating one participant in the election with such contempt?

Will the unopened ballot boxes be safe with such left-wing custodians in charge of them?  Indeed, will the count be held in a fair and transparent manner?  The British National Party thinks that it is highly unlikely that Manchester council, which is the lead authority for the North-West European elections, will act in an unbiased way in consideration of these recent events.

It becomes quite apparent just how unfair this election could be when the deputy leader of the city council, Councillor Jim Battle, is quoted as saying: “The city council maintains the clear position that the Town Hall is a no go area for the BNP and that the BNP is not welcome in Manchester.”

Another town hall worker, Mike Killian, who is also a spokesperson for the far left group MUAF apparently said, “Manchester UAF supporters at the Town Hall reacted swiftly to the BNP threat and kicked them out.”

With individuals like these in positions of authority at Manchester town hall, there is serious cause for concern about the conduct of these elections, but this is an obstacle that the British National Party will overcome, because we have right on our side and the support of the honest, decent, law-abiding citizens of the North West of England.

In particular, the British National Party now has the resources necessary to ensure that any irregularity in the conduct of the Euro elections – and any evidence of political bias by officials of Manchester city council or any other local authority – will be subjected to  rigorous legal scrutiny and eventual judicial review.

Salisbury BNP “Planning for Excellence”

February 26, 2009

salisbury-bnp-excellenceSalisbury BNP’s new communications forum has attracted its largest audience to date, according to Mike Chant, Salisbury organiser.

“One of several speakers at the event Phil Downton, leafleting coordinator, gave an update on the recent week’s leafleting campaign and ran through the planned programme through to the June elections,” said Mr Chant.

“Volunteers were sought for the coming weekend leaflet drop at Durrington, ten members came forward and all the necessary arrangements were made.”

The guest speaker at the event was National Youth Officer, Mike Howson, who delivered an inspiring speech on the current affairs affecting Great Britain today. The speech was so motivating that several people joined the party at the interval.

“The growth of the Salisbury group in the last two months is incredible; we will have to find a larger venue for future events,” said Mr Chant.

The introduction of our BNP merchandise stand was a great success, thanks to super activist Brian Hayward. Monies raised on the night from sales and a collection amounted to £268.60.

“A recent review of the Salisbury group organisation has identified our core values as an efficient team, these being professionalism, openness and integrity,” continued Mr Chant.

“It is these principles which make us different from other political organisations. It’s our objective to internalise these values into everything we do as a team.

“The implementation of our local strategic plan has started, and we are all looking forward to benchmarking our performances against our agreed key performance indicators set for all our key activities.”

All members are invited to attend the weekly activist steering group meetings and get involved; activism is not just leafleting and street stands, anyone who can add value to our processes or help in any other way will be warmly welcomed by the team.  Click here to email the BNP in the southwest.

Will Scotland Remain Scottish? Number of Languages in Edinburgh’s Schools Now Numbers 90

February 26, 2009

scotland-heraldThe number of asylum seekers and refugees in Edinburgh’s schools has more than doubled in the last year, with 90 languages now spoken by city pupils.

Polish, Urdu and Punjabi are the most commonly-spoken languages in the Capital’s schools, besides English. New Scottish Government figures show that a total of 3996 children in city schools do not speak English as their first language, which is a rise of more than 500 from this time last year.

The increase is likely to be linked to the growing number of asylum seekers and refugees, from 32 in 2007 to 84 last year.

Many children moving to Edinburgh can speak no English at all, meaning additional resources have to be put into schools to help them learn.

These are provided through the English as an Additional Language (EAL) service, which offers support for bilingual pupils and their teachers in schools and currently costs more than £1 million-a-year to run.

Since 2004, the number of pupils receiving extra tuition from the EAL unit has risen by more than 50 percent in the city.

Nearly 600 pupils who speak one of the 90 languages in Edinburgh’s schools were just starting to learn English last year, the new figures reveal.

In addition, the council’s EAL service allows the school to offer several “heritage language” classes after school and at weekends for youngsters to keep up their own culture, as well as learning English during class time — all courtesy of the taxpayer.

* Can it even be imagined that any other nation, for example Pakistan, would actually pay for British children to learn Urdu and then pay extra so that they could still learn English as well? It is inconceivable — only soft touch Britain’s ruling elite could devise such a suicide plan.

Victory As Liverpool Library Lifts Ban on Voice of Freedom Editor’s Blog

February 26, 2009

martin-wingfiled-blogLiverpool Library services have backed down in the face of overwhelming public pressure to lift their unilateral ban on Voice of Freedom editor Martin Wingfield’s blog.

In yet another victory for the BNP’s increasing cyber muscle, the web filtering system called Fortiguard which the library uses has agreed that Mr Wingfield’s site has been wrongly classified, and have with immediate effect removed it from their blocking system.

“Fortiguard have investigated challenges made against this classification. The site has been reclassified by Fortiguard enabling access on all library computers to the site by customers and staff,” said an official communication from the Liverpool library services this morning.

“This is a great day for democracy in Britain, and proof that we have the numbers and popular support to mobilise against the leftist fascists who think they have the right to determine what the public can and cannot read,” Mr Wingfield told BNP News.

“I suggest that all BNP activists head down to their local libraries and ensure that the public can access all BNP-related sites on computers and networks in the same way as any other political party in this country,” he added.

“Any libraries which are under the control of the fascists need to be exposed and subjected to the same type of campaign to which Liverpool was exposed.”

The ban on Mr Wingfield’s blog was the subject of a campaign launched by the BNP’s fantastically successful BNP E-Newsletter, to which you can subscribe by using the link on the right hand side of this page.

The Islamist Invasion Reaches Sarajevo

February 26, 2009

Bosnia's futureRadical Muslim imams, with the help of Arab benefactors, have seized a dramatic foothold in Sarajevo and are acquiring new recruits, according to the German newsmagazine Der Spiegel.

In what that magazine calls the “Jerusalem of the Balkans,” Islamists are on the rise, it says.

“The obliteration of Israel is heralded in a torrent of words. ‘Zionist terrorists,’ the imam thunders from the glass-enclosed pulpit at the end of the mosque. Animals in human form have transformed the Gaza Strip into a “concentration camp,” and this marks the beginning of the end for the Jewish pseudo-state” reports Der Spiegel.

The lesson being quoted by that magazine was given to over 4,000 faithful listening to the religious service in the King Fahd Mosque in central Sarajevo, named after the late Saudi Arabian monarch King Fahd Bin Abd al-Asis Al Saud.

The mosque was built with millions of Saudi dollars as the largest house of worship for Muslims in the Balkans. It has a reputation as a magnet for Muslim fundamentalists in Bosnia-Herzegovina, and the imam, Nezim Halilovic, is said to be the patron of the Wahhabites, although they call themselves Salafites, after an ultra-conservative movement in Sunni Islam.

Imam Halilovic served during the war as commander of the Fourth Muslim Brigade. According to Der Spiegel, a photo shows him standing next to a 155 millimetre howitzer, dressed in black combat fatigues, a flowing beard and a scarf wrapped around his head.

He witnessed the arrival of the first religious warriors from countries in the Middle East and northern Africa. These fighters brought ideological seeds that have now found fertile ground — the beliefs of the Salafites, Islamic fundamentalists who orient themselves according to the alleged unique, pure origin of their religion and reject all newer Islamic traditions.

This clash of civilizations also takes place in less prominent places, like the Internet forums of the Bosnian website Studio Din. Here the heirs of the officially godless, socialist Yugoslavia can learn about the Salafi doctrine.

They ask questions that have to do with everyday life — listening to music, smoking, earning money — but also questions dealing with clothing and moral rules.

The answers from the preachers on the web are unequivocal: “Music is forbidden in Islam, listening to instruments is a sin.”

“Whoever works as a cleaning lady at a bank that charges its customers interest is an accessory to a sin. It’s no different than having cleaning ladies in bars and brothels.”

Resid Hafizovic, a professor at the Islamic University, was the first to speak of a “potentially deadly virus” in Bosnian society. The head of the Bosnian federal police has recently admitted that there is a growing threat of “terrorism with an Islamistic character” and has cited indications that suicide bombers have begun to equip themselves with explosive belts.

“They have everything to blow themselves up. Whether they do it depends on the orders from their leaders,” says Esad Hecimovic, author of a standard work on the mujahedeen in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Last March, officials of the special anti-terror unit arrested five men, including four Salafites in Sarajevo. The Bosnian leader of the group, a former fighter in the Al-Mujahedeen Brigade, reportedly has sponsors in Germany and Austria who helped him acquire explosives.

In connection with the arrests, police conducted raids in remote mountain areas and seized caches of arms and military equipment that were used for combat training exercises.

After discovering that some of the masterminds behind 9/11, such as Khalid Scheikh Mohammed, had been active in Bosnia, international pressure increased on the government in Sarajevo in 2002. Foundations were closed and police searched the Sarajevo office of the Saudi High Commissioner for Aid to Bosnia, which had until then enjoyed the protection of the United States.

Have you ever wondered who is behind the continuing terrorist atrocities in Russia? This book reveals the truth behind terrorism in modern Russia and the radical Islamist terrorists who are behind the continuing conflict in Chechnya. It contains astonishing evidence of Saudi-born leaders who have directed much of the violence and is vital to understanding modern Russia, and the threat which Islam poses to that nation. “Murphy’s analysis is ‘no holds barred’ in describing the brutality of the Islamic warriors. Kidnappings, torture and mass slaughter are all part of their method of operation.” — Paul M Weyrich, Chairman and CEO, Free Congress Foundation. The Asylum Swindle Rolls On: The Bizarre Case of Binyam Mohamed

February 26, 2009

binyamreleasedAnybody looking for a more perfect example of how the British taxpayer is being ripped off for the outrageous “asylum swindle”, need look no further than the case of Binyam Mohamed.

Mr Mohamed is an Ethiopian-born failed asylum seeker who was detained for alleged Al-Qaeda activities in Pakistan – but who is now back in Britain parasiting off benefits of £21K a year, courtesy of the British taxpayer.

How did Mr Mohamed manage to set up this incredible swindle? How did he manage to get into a position where British taxpayers subsidise a Muslim born in Ethiopia and who was rejected in his earlier attempt to invade Britain?

It’s easy if you know how to work the asylum system as set up by successive Tory and Labour governments. Mr Mohammed is a classic case:

- He came to Britain in 1994 aged just sixteen. He applied for asylum, but his case was so weak that it was rejected. Because of his age he was told that he could stay until 2004 – meaning that he was offered a free ten year ride on the backs of the British taxpayers as a reward for breaking every law and illegally invading Britain.

- While living off the fat of the land, Mr Mohamed “converted” to Islam (given his name, one can only wonder that the authorities actually believed he was not one in the first place) and then took an airplane to Pakistan.

- While in Pakistan, Mr Mohamed made his way to Afghanistan, while that country was in the middle of a war between the Taliban and British and American forces.

- Mr Mohamed denies that he has anything to do with the Taliban, al-Qaeda or any Islamist group, but has no explanation why he, as an Ethiopian, ended up in Afghanistan carrying a false passport.

- Mr Mohamed was then arrested and extradited to Guantanamo Bay in Cuba under the patently illegal American “rendition” programme and held there without trial for several years.

- While in detention, Mr Mohamed confessed to meeting al-Qaeda to plot an attack on America with a radioactive “dirty” bomb. He claims that he was tortured into making this confession.

- Mr Mohamed’s parents live in Ethiopia and his brother and sister in America.

- Now he has been released and after being flown to Britain in a private jet which cost the British taxpayer £10,000, is seeking residency which will entitle him to even more money and benefits.

This then, is how you con the British people into subsidising your international travels, visits to Afghanistan and the Taliban using your false passport. When you get caught, you come back to Britain to take even more money from the gullible sheep who set you up in the first place.

The British National Party demands to know:

1. Why was Mr Mohamed not deported back to Ethiopia? He has no claim whatsoever on Britain or the British taxpayers.

2. Why was he given leave to remain until 2004 in the first place?

The BNP’s policy on asylum is simple: This country has an obligation under international law to accept genuine asylum seekers who have Britain as their first safe port of call after leaving their own country.

This means that Britain is obliged to accept asylum seekers from France and Ireland — and nowhere else.

Asylum seekers who cross twenty or more safe countries to get into Britain are not asylum seekers, but invaders, and need to be repelled without any form of compensation whatsoever.

Until this Tory- and Labour-created asylum swindle system is utterly dismantled, leeches and scroungers from all over the world will continue to invade Britain to suck the lifeblood out of this country.

Only the BNP is committed to bringing this criminal enterprise to an end.

Tories Have No Recovery Plan and BNP Waits in Wings, Warns Leading Tory Columnist

February 25, 2009

keep-calm-and-carry-onThe British people know that the Tories have no recovery plan for this country and that that party and Labour are essentially the same, a leading Tory columnist has warned.

Discussing the economic meltdown and rise in popularity of a reproduction wartime poster featuring the slogan “Keep Calm and Carry On,” Telegraph writer Simon Heffer says that “the Conservative Party, which presents itself as the government-in-waiting, hasn’t the slightest clue what to do about this grave national predicament.

“And the public know that, too. The poster that, 70 years after its intended use, has become a cult reflects the public’s sense that democracy again is failing,” writes Mr Heffer.

He goes on to say that people sense that “Changing the government may change nothing at all. What that poster effectively says is: the politicians have failed, now we are on our own.”

“‘Keep Calm and Carry On’ starts as a particularly British joke,” he writes. “It then becomes deadly serious. And if nothing improves (and who, given the alternatives before us, would be so brave as to say it will, even in the medium term?) at some stage people will realise that they cannot keep calm and carry on long enough to come out intact on the other side of the crisis.

“Perhaps two governments will fail to solve the problem. And then what?”

Mr Heffer warns that it is not impossible for there to be serious unrest once the full extent of the economic collapse becomes apparent.

He then goes on to link the election of a British National Party councillor in Sevenoaks last week as the first indication that the public has had enough of the Tweedledee Tweedledum Labour-Tory party.

“The election of a councillor from the British National Party in leafy Sevenoaks last week was a cloud somewhat bigger than a man’s hand,” Mr Heffer writes.

“The responsibility resting not on the failed Government, but on the yet-to-fail Opposition, is immense.

“The Tories’ complete lack of a recovery policy, which is now merely an annoyance, will become virulent in an election campaign.”

“If the Tories are elected, and fail, we shall be off the map. And we must dread that, then, the time to keep calm will have passed, and something far darker will lie ahead.”

The only sense in which it would be “far darker” would be that it will signal the end of the traitorous elite which has led this country to ruin for so many decades.

*The “Keep Calm and Carry On” poster was printed in 1940 for the first time for use in the event of an invasion. Excalibur will soon be stocking A3 size copies for mass distribution. Stay tuned!  In the meantime, readers can download printable a printable A4 size poster version by clicking here.
