It is very sad that the French people have been fooled by the Hungarian Dwarf Sarkozy. He has skillfully learnt the art of deceit from those in power across La Manche. It takes people to suffer hardship in order to awaken from apathy and I suspect it would take a smaller spark to set things off in France which has historically been more volatile than the UK. But media suppression is rife here too so I wouldn’t expect too much soon.

On a brighter note, I was made aware that there was a demonstration against high price rises at a supermarket near Paris a week or so ago and the demonstrators handed out the goods. Not sure if there was any police involvement as they have been fairly liberal when this sort of thing happens in the past. At least we know the people are still able to revolt in France if they are fired up enough. I wish the same could be said for the UK.

The only “good people” they serve are themselves and any one that isn’t caucasian. The likes of Rowan Williams, even just by listening to his irritating, snotty-nosed pompous accent can be recognised as not living in the real world. As for the Catholic Church ‘leaders’, they are are just as bad and just as guilty of neglecting their proper responsibilities to the Church which, as an institution, they seem to be to happy to see it laying prostrate on the floor like some down and out drunk that has had too much booze, i.e. liberal/left politicisation! Until it reverses that part of Gramsci’s ” long march through the institutions”, it will forever remain the ‘down and out drunk that lays prostrate on the floor’. Nature abhors a vacuum, and if the Church isn’t too careful and doesn’t sober up soon, that void will be filled by the viper in the nest…ISLAM !

Hopefully offensive imperialist structures like this will be destroyed by earthquake, weather, or the demolition ball, so removing these ugly symbols of tyranny.

If war occurs in Europe, between Muslim and non-Muslim, the non-Muslims would be wise to make demolishing these Islamic symbols a top priority.

May I suggest that some way be found to make any future sites thoroughly unclean, for Islamic Buildings, so that they cannot build there without offending their own.

The party supports Christianity in Europe, however as I am a free thinking atheist, my thoughts on those that are supposed to be defending it (Christianity)and arguably in-turn Europe, namely the Church. The hierarchy and too many of their priests, bishops, etc, let's face it, is today nothing more than a vessel filled with spineless cowardly leftist/liberal church-hijacking advocats of a christianity that offers nothing but surrender. The Church, both Catholic and Protestant, as far as I see it are both increasingly willing to raise the white flag in the face of this Islamic onslaught against Mother Europe. What are they doing to prevent this from happening? Sweet Fanny Adams! There is now only one hope left available for the salvation of Europe, NATIONALISM. It is clear that too many of the people of Europe have forgotten the battles that have been fought to prevent what is once again threatening the proverbial Gates of Vienna and as the saying goes those that forget their mistakes are bound to repeat them, but it doesn't have to be inevitable, it doesn't have to be written in stone. The BNP, FN, etc, MUST bring it home to their respective peoples what dark future awaits should Europe finally fall!

Maria, very interesting, thank you. France and Italy both had quite important Communist Parties though events such as Hungary (1956) and Czechoslovakia (1968) weakened them. I’d be interested to know whether ‘Marxist theoreticians’ (my sceptical quote marks) such as Althusser had anything to say on this issue… my guess is that at the time it seemed barely credible it could ever be of importance.

We really do have to rethink our concept of “nations.” We’ve gone too overboard in thinking of nations as land between borders instead of realizing that true nations are extended families of like individuals.

By putting so much emphasis on land and borders, we’ve been lulled into thinking that any creature that can drag itself across a border onto our land is somehow one of us. This distorts our true nation which begins with our genes and manifests itself with keeping and holding land for the benefit of these genes.

Wherever we are is where our nation is. England, without us, is not England, even if it still bears that name.

Charles Martel, – Charles the Hammer, was mayor of the palace (or chancellor) of Austrasia, which was the eastern part of the Frankish kdm.

He restored a united Frankish kdm and established a power base on which the Carolingian empire was founded. In 732 he defeated the invading Muslims at Poitiers and stopped further Moslem expansion into Europe.

The battle of Poitiers (also called the battle of Tours) was a decisive battle of world history because it stopped further intrusion of the Muslims into the heart of Europe.

Abd-ar-Rahman, ruler of Cordoba, had invaded Aquitaine and advanced north. Charles Martel, had stationed his cavalry to defend the city of Tours.

The Muslim attack was broken by Charles’s cavalry near Poitiers Abd-ar-Rahman was killed, and the demoralised Arabs withdrew quickly.

In XXI century France the now very small French Communist Party (PCF) does support the islamisation of the country and political correctness regarding third world immigration into Europe. But the (PCF) was not always like that.
The most notorious general secretary of the French Communist Party in the second half of the XX century, and one of the most notorious communists in Western Europe, was Georges Marchais, a pro USSR communist, who, unlike spanish or italian communists, never really distanced himself from the regime of the Soviet Union.

He was even once called a Petainist by a socialist politician. Even a hardline communist like Marchais couldn´t avoid being branded a nazi sympathizer once he started to speak against immigration…

A substantial amount of the PCF electorate would later start to vote for the Front National of Le Pen. Many people went straight from the PCF to the FN.
