Bliar and his henchmen and women came to power on the anthem "things can only get better", reading of this total travesty, not only of human rights and representation; we all now know what they meant. Better for them with their Marxist methods and the total loss of free speech for anyone who does not subscribe to their dictats. They must be stopped and soon.

As a follow on to my post at 9:59 this morning:

I have had a reply from my barrister friend in Manchester . . .

Quote:

Hi ****

It used to be the case that fingerprints/photo/and DNA could only be taken if you were charged or convicted of an ofence but in an attempt to boost the database this changed with The Criminal Justice Act 2003, which came into force in April 2004.

The current position is that fingerprints/photo/and DNA can be taken once you have been arrested, even if no criminal charges are subsequently brought.

If you dont consent they can take them by force (i've seen it done, it involves about 8 officers pinning down the suspect) difficulty is that if you later want to argue about the admissibility of something it is difficult to do so when it was given by consent.

I think the best tactic is to inform them that you dont consent but also make it clear in the same breath that you dont resist and will co-operate. That endorsement will normally appear on your custody record and help with any future points of law.

(they will also do speculative searches using the DNA and prints provided to see if you come up against any other unsolved crimes)

Government guidelines tell police officers that their first act should be to refuse outright any request for deletion of the samples, even if you are never charged with anything, and only to look into the matter "if the applicant persists".

The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) was expected to rule this year on a case which will test the right of the Government to hold on to innocent people's samples.

Michael Marper has never been charged with a crime and objects to the retention of a DNA sample on the database. He lost a case at the House of Lords but has appealed to the ECHR, arguing that the retention breaches his human rights as protected by the Human Rights Act.

Unquote.

8 rozzers to hold you down !! No wonder you get injured !!

I wish you all good luck on your demo (are we still allowed to do that?) on the 29th. I wish I could be there.

I am going to be very interested in the follow-up press reports. But not surprised at what I think they will be. Let me guess. BNP Thugs Target Police Station. Or, Right-Wing Extremists Disrupt Liverpool and so on ad nauseum.

No mention will be made of the illegal detention of members of a legitimate political party peacefully canvassing with perfectly legal literature. Nor will there be a single mention of the treatment meted out to them by the police.

I sincerely hope that some of the Liverpool 13 were able to record the police shoulder numbers for any future action against these individuals, perhaps in a class action.

Good Luck To You All.

I think the attack on the BNP was part of a much bigger picture. I think the establishment and media were testing the water to see how much the general population have been brainwashed and can whipped up into some anti-BNP frenzy. Fortunately for us it shows that we have massive widespread support, and it's not quite so easy as they thought to intimidate us into silence. But they had hoped that it would destroy us completely - what a surprise they got.

This is why they have backed-off, the establishment and their media puppets are licking their wounds and are stunned at the lack of attacks and intimidation we have received - obviously not included the moronic lefties who don't count because they are just haters looking for a cause and are brainless fodder for the establishment.

But they will be coming for us again very soon - they are determined to prevent us achieving a breakthrough in the Euro elections at all costs.

I note that all is quiet on the media front with regards to the BNP.
Could it be they saw our web traffic increase?.
Or are they apprehensive about the consequences of their frenzied attack on us and the violence they have whipped up?.

Let History record that it was the LABOUR PARTY that first incited violence against members of a rival, peacefull and democratic party by releasing details of BNP membership, in the hope that "Leftist" extremists allied to the LABOUR PARTY may carry out attacks of those on the list. Let History record that it was Policemen acting on orders from the LABOUR PARTY that illegally arrested BNP activists, and tortured and harmed, and witheld medicine from some of these activists. All this at the behest of The LABOUR PARTY. Let no one in Britian be in any doubt that the LABOUR PARTY is an anti democratic, anti free speech, corrupt, criminal, organisation, and it is the enemy of all true Britons.

They are now far more than our rival, if they ever were just a political opponent. As you say, they are the enemy of all true Britons but as far as the British National Party is concerned, we intend to sweep this hideous New Labour Marxist monster into the political wilderness from which it can never return. They are our most bitter enemy and we will show them no mercy or forgiveness for what they have done to this green and pleasant land, its once proud people and especially at this time, the Liverpool 13 - Ed

The following is a precis of the wiki article on torture relating to Britain. I would expect, based on this information, that the indigenous British creators of such
protective laws and civilised attitudes as these would be allowed to avail themselves of them without any slur on their sincerity or righteous indignation.

"Torture, the infliction of severe physical or psychological pain upon an individual to extract information, a confession or as a punishment, is prohibited by international law and illegal in most countries. Torture was prohibited by the adoption of the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). [During World War II the British government operated a secret torture center where more than 3,000 German prisoners were systematically beaten, deprived of sleep, forced to stand still for more than 24 hours at a time and threatened with execution or unnecessary surgery.]

In Northern Ireland in the 1970s wall-standing, hooding, subjection to noise, deprivation of sleep, food and drink [or medication?] were used in 14 cases. The European Court of Human Rights ruled that, although the five techniques did not warrant being classified as torture, recourse to them amounted to inhuman and degrading treatment, which practice was in breach of the European Convention on Human Rights, Article 3 (art. 3)and illegal under British Domestic Law. Only Parliament can alter the law [Have they altered it? They might have issued secret directives, unbeknownst generally. Who knows?]. The procedures were and are illegal. Directives expressly prohibiting the use of the techniques, whether singly or in combination, were issued to the security forces by the Government. These are still in force and the use of such methods by UK security forces would not be condoned by the Government [except by Merseyside Police, perhaps].

On February 23, 2005, British soldiers were found guilty of abuse of Iraqi prisoners. The judge, together with all the leaders of the major British political parties and the chief of the General Staff all said they were revolted, appalled and disappointed, as would anyone with "a shred of human decency". [If disgusting for prisoners of war, then equally for loyal British citizens, one would think.] On 30 April 2007 corporal Donald Payne, Britain's first convicted war criminal, was found guilty under the provisions of the International Criminal Court Act 2001, of mistreating prisoners, was jailed for a year and dishonourably discharged from the army. On 14 May 2008 Defence Secretary Des Browne announced in the House of Commons that there would be a public inquiry into the death of Baha Mousa, in which "no stone [will be left] unturned in investigating his tragic death.". Earlier this month, the MoD agreed to pay almost £3m in compensation to Mr Mousa's family and nine Iraqi men after admitting breaching human rights.
[How will the Liverpool 13 be treated?]

On 7 December 2005, the House of Lords reversed the deportations of Muslims convicted on "evidence procured by torture inflicted by foreign officials," ruling that centuries of common law and recent international conventions made torture anathema in the country's courts. Lord Bingham said that it was "clear that from its very earliest days the common law of England set its face firmly against the use of torture", Lord Nicholls said "Torture is not acceptable. This is a bedrock moral principle in this country."; Lord Hoffman: "The use of torture is dishonourable. It corrupts and degrades the state which uses it and the legal system which accepts it."; Lord Hope: "one of most evil practices known to man"; Lord Rodgers: "the unacceptable nature of torture ... has long been unquestioned in this country."; Lord Carswell: "abhorrence felt by civilised nations for the use of torture"; and Lord Brown: "Torture is an unqualified evil. It can never be justified. Rather it must always be punished.". {I won't hold my breath.]

The Liverpool Stasi were obviously demonstrating their politically correct credentials to their overlords with the persecution of the Liverpool 13 in light of the revelation that a serving officer in Merseyside is a member of the BNP.

They are a bunch of classic brown-nosers - the definition of which is excellently given by the Urban Dictionary:

"A person who acts favorably to his or her peers to gain stasis or fancy that will eventually be used to their advantage. Such as a raise, promotion, or acceptance in a group. Usually brown nosers will do anything to gain the approval of their person of choice. These people can also be described as losers because they can’t work for what they want, instead they play dirty and butter-up the boss/teacher/peer into getting what they want."

I know it is a point that has been made before many times but I just wanted to add my two penneth into the pot.

The dumbing down of the education system with trendy left wing teaching methods has repeatedly failed our children especially those of the working classes and it is absolutely vital that BNP candidates are elected to reverse this deliberate attempt to control the next generations and retain power at any price.

Nulab's betrayal and years of empty promises are finally coming to fruition as those very same people they were elected to protect now turn to the British National Party as their saviours. The BNP are on the brink of major electoral successes and it is this fear that drives Nulab and it's far left bully boys to ever more desperate measures.

Ed: Following the [I'm] Spartacus clip, I wonder if it might be appropriate to submit a beautiful clip from Gladiator with the stirring and uplifting theme NOW WE ARE FREE sung by Lisa Gerrard. It's for all patriots, especially the Liverpool 13 and those making their way there this Saturday but also for our many friends and contributors to this site from Down Under in Australia and New Zealand.

Lisa Gerrard (born Melbourne, Australia) and Russell Crowe (born Wellington, New Zealand) typify the tremendous kindred spirit we share with those born under the Southern Cross. We're not free yet and it's going to be a long, hard fight with toil, sweat and tears ahead and maybe even worse - but I wouldn't miss this for anything.

At 2:20 into the clip, betrayed, (as we have been) former Roman General, now Gladiator 'Spaniard' (Russell Crowe) removes his helmet revealing his true identity (leaked lists?) for the first time to the evil, tyrannical Roman Emperor (Brown/Blair et al?) who would murder not only his very own father, the then Caesar played by the late Richard Harris but also Spaniard's wife and child (indigenous Britons?). It reminded me of the sinister way we have been deliberately and callously exposed in such criminal fashion this week. I feel immensely proud to be on that list. Labour, "You do your worst - and we will do our best" Churchill http://tinyurl.com/5eu78r

Me and my workmate- both postmen, would love to be there on Saturday, but cannot get the day off work, we would have no problem travelling down from Dundee, Scotland. We attended Nick and Mark's trial, and we are annoyed we won't be there this Saturday with our Scottish flags.

I hope all those who are available nearer, take part in this show of support for these brave activists, dont put it off, please be there.

What an excellent analysis of NuLabour's Police State in action.
Incidentally, in some ways I am quite hurt over the fact that I have not received any threatening phone calls - only some vague burblings from an obvious drunk, or 'druggie'. Perhaps it is because the Searchlight gang have told the organised call-makers that they would be wasting their time, and phone bill.

My question is why do they need our DNA? Being a member of the BNP carries with it a responsibility, a code of honour and a disciplined mind - if not just for yourself but out of loyalty to the good members who walk the streets, risking arrest for simply opposing the ruling junta.

We can never allow ourselves to be drawn into 'thuggery' (as our colourful media put it), neither could we ever carry guns (as the Liverpool police claimed to the searching houses for). They know this, because they've met us, interrogated us and unwittingly mixed with us. We certainly had a couple of plain clothes coppers taping one meeting in Swansea. Result? Nothing.

So once again, why do they so desperately want our DNA, unless they're thinking of cloning a few thousand ready made prisoners.

This unholy alliance between State/mainstream media/police to harass and prosecute a perfectly legal party, the BNP, is the hallmark of all dictatorships and people who are new to these pages must stop thinking 'dictatorship?' it can't happen in this country. It already is happening, though it is masked by the pretense of the Lib/Lab/Con sham of the party system and the even bigger sham of having a so-called 'free press', the same free press that forbids by diktat saying anything positive about the BNP because it does not toe the liberal/left line on multiculturalism and mass immigration.

The following quote from the link by Maid of Kent makes one wonder just how low the PC brigade can sink.

''But Mr Cunningham, who is also a spokesman on homosexual issues for the Association of Chief Police Officers, argues that offenders should only be prosecuted as a last resort because of the potential impact on their lives, of making their activities public''.

We certainly mustn't offend those poor dears' liberal sensibilities. After all they do vote for New (old, putrid and rotten to the core) Labour. No, there's serious work to be done harassing and prosecuting members of a legitimate party, the BNP, the Party of Truth and the only party who represent the interests of indigenous British folk, while minorities in this country are allowed to be represented by a myriad of special interest groups.

What a success Cultural Marxism/political correctness has been, completing the 'long march through Western institutions' has been successful beyond even the wildest dreams of it's proponents, the Marxists of the Frankfurt School, and every Western nation is reeling from their onslaught on on our values and traditions as these cultural Marxists use multiculturalism and mass immigration to wreck our nation-states, gradually replacing them with the coffee-coloured masses of a one-world government of Regions . Just a last thought, if mass immigration espoused by the liberal/left is so desirable, why is it that every Communist regime like North Korea, Cuba, China avoid it like the plague. Oh, I forgot, mass immigration imposed by the Cultural Marxists is for the destruction of Western white-majority countries only.

The Criminal Justice Act 2003 provides that Police can take fingerprints and non-intimate DNA samples from persons arrested for a Recordable Offence and detained in a Police Station.

Why was it necessary for Officers to use weapons (probably Low Profile Batons/Kubotans) to inflict injuries and pain on a non-combative prisoner?

Why were these smartly turned out and respectable members of the Public arrested, clapped in handcuffs, and paraded through the streets by an escort cordon of Police Officers, for handing out leaflets highlighting the evils of racist violence?
