Government guidelines tell police officers that their first act should be to refuse outright any request for deletion of the samples, even if you are never charged with anything, and only to look into the matter “if the applicant persists”.

The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) was expected to rule this year on a case which will test the right of the Government to hold on to innocent people’s samples.

Michael Marper has never been charged with a crime and objects to the retention of a DNA sample on the database. He lost a case at the House of Lords but has appealed to the ECHR, arguing that the retention breaches his human rights as protected by the Human Rights Act.

We’re not gonna take it anymore!!!

We can never allow ourselves to be drawn into ‘thuggery’ (as our colourful media put it), neither could we ever carry guns (as the Liverpool police claimed to the searching houses for). They know this, because they’ve met us, interrogated us and unwittingly mixed with us. We certainly had a couple of plain clothes coppers taping one meeting in Swansea. Result? Nothing.

So once again, why do they so desperately want our DNA, unless they’re thinking of cloning a few thousand ready made prisoners.
