Liverpool – Personal Reflections on a Day of Triumph
When the annals of British nationalism come to be written, the events of November 29th will surely merit their own page in that history.
Every one of the hundred and fifty BNP men and women who set out for Liverpool in the pre-dawn fog of freezing morning knew full-well that they faced arrest and ill-treatment at the hands of a British police force out of control.
These were one hundred and fifty people with families, jobs and mortgages, who said tearful goodbyes to their loved-ones that morning in the expectation that they would not return in the evening, and that their homes might be invaded and searched, just as Tory Damian Green’s home was violated, by Labour’s political police.
There are other political parties, for sure, who could turn out one hundred and fifty activists, even on a chill wintery day. But perhaps only the British National Party boasts one hundred and fifty stout hearts willing to risk all they hold dear in the cause of freedom.
Thankfully, all our dark fears proved ill-founded. As we arrived in Liverpool, the jubilant “Liverpool 13″ greeted us with news that the police and Crown Prosecution Service had backed down, the triumph was won and the enemy had already fled the field. The mood changed abruptly from silent and grim-faced determination, to celebratory smiles and back-slapping congratulations.
Few doubted that if the authorities had persisted with their pretence that the “Racism Cuts Both Ways” leaflets were illegal, then Nick Griffin and his followers would all be arrested for distributing them that day. The media would undoubtedly have linked Nick’s arrest to that of Tory Damian Green and drawn adverse conclusions about the malevolence of Labour. But ultimately, Labour’s nerve failed them and they clearly decided that political martyrdom was a gift to the BNP which they could not afford to give.
So the one hundred and fifty carried their flags proudly to the appointed place and made their stand, armed with the truth and with BNP leaflets by the thousand. And the fine reception they received from the warm-hearted people of Liverpool was just reward in itself for their efforts.
The BNP activists at Liverpool seemed a distillation of all that is still Great about Britain. The public saw ex-servicemen with medals worn proudly on their chests. There were professional men in suits, accountants and businessmen, whose briefcases bulged with BNP leaflets. There were middle-class ladies with the accents of Somerset and Surrey, and working-class lads from the Lancashire mill towns. Here stood fashion-conscious young girls in their high-heeled boots, and frail grey-haired old men, who fought for their country long ago and were prepared to do so again, just one last time.
All of them conducted themselves with exemplary restraint and good-humour, ignoring the distant moronic chants of the Labour mob, and they stuck to their purpose of handing out leaflets with quiet British resolution. The BNP is proud of them all, and one day soon, our nation will be proud of them too.
On this day of triumph, even Merseyside police seemed utterly transformed. The courteous and impartial police officers of yesteryear, who inspired and deserved our respect, unexpectedly reappeared. Smart and professional officers committed to protecting the peaceful and innocent, and arresting the violent and guilty, seem so rare these days that, in truth, the transformation came as a shock. Our thanks and “three cheers” for the ordinary Merseyside police officers who did their duty so creditably that day were both genuine and well-deserved.
There are many lessons of Liverpool, but the greatest of all is this: men and women of stout heart can still prevail against the powers-that-be. We may face an Establishment enemy of daunting might, but he is an enemy too with a nervous twitch in his cheek, a quaver in his voice and sweat on his brow.
With the “Liverpool 13″ now happily free to enjoy an untroubled Christmas with their families, we may look back on our remarkable day out in Liverpool as the moment the tide of fortune turned in our favour.

Having released this video that I assume had been passed to the Sunday Mirror, what action if any is now being taken against the police officers?
I am so proud of you.
You brought tears to my eyes this morning in NYC.
Didn’t know I had any left!
There is still an England.
There is hope for Britain.
Thank you, BNP
Great article from George; the photos are inspiring to all patriots and it sure does bring a lump to your throat. It’s like a snapshot of Britain from the fifties. Thank you and well done everybody who made the journey to Liverpool; we are now living in interesting times and the distant light of hope is now visible at the end of the tunnel. God bless Britannia and the BNP.
Hear hear. As one who attended the Liverpool protest yesterday the above passage sums up the day perfectly. My thanks to Merseyside police also for this time realising who the criminals were (the Labour thugs) and who the peace-loving democrats were (us)
Well done to everyone who attended.
Proud to be BNP
God bless the brave men and women who stood up to tyranny and bettered the bullies of the Labour party and their cowed lackeys in the senior ranks of the Merseyside constabulary.
The BNP arguments are unassailable because they are nothing more than the truth and as more people see and fearlessly talk this truth, then the popularity of the BNP will correspondingly increase among decent and ordinary people and the British will get their pride back.
Since when was it ‘Hate Filled’ to be proud of your culture, your heritage and the achievements of your predecessors which have benefitted humanity worldwide, such as the BNP are seeking to do? To be proud of those things is natural and normal, only someone seeking to destroy you would try to make you ashamed of those proud achievements.
What we are witnessing now is a grassroots civil rights organisation which is legitimately challenging an oppressive and hated government through democratic means. Be vigilant because that government will now seek to destroy by whatever means possible that which threatens them. Don’t squander this unexpected bounty of goodwill that is being provided by the mistakes of the enemy of us all.

Well put, Irish!
Many battered wives have a horrific tale to tell of how their partners abused them shattering their self-confidence, telling them that they were ugly, idle, stupid, disgusting and worthless and backing it up with violence and domestic tyranny.
Isn’t that what the politically correct lackeys of the ZanuLabour Party are telling us indigenous Brits about ourselves? Battered wives are encouraged to seek safe houses where they will be cared for and their self-esteem restored. In the same way, our battered nation runs for cover to the BNP. Run while you still can. Islamic wives have to face even worse from forced marriages and honour killings. Don’t wait until you have to live under Sharia law. Respect yourself and vote BNP.
Now here’s a member of whom we can all be extremely proud:

Thanks for the link, SL. Apart from repeating Cameron’s comments on the BNP and playing on Michael Smith’s father’s unhappiness that his son had switched support from the Tories, it actually reads quite fairly. I also note that Nick Griffin is allowed the last word, whereas normally the last word in articles about the BNP always goes to an opposing viewpoint.
I think this story should be highlighted on the website for all visitors and supporters to see - it’s a great testament to the BNP’s success in giving a voice to true Britons and attracting members from every walk of life.
I also want to add my congratulations and sincere thanks to Michael Smith for deciding to stand for the only party that offer Britain a chance. Well done Michael!

I agree with 96% the article Shropshire Lass, but I think it is a sham that these ‘tabloids’ still insist on falsely describing the BNP as ‘far-right’ (extreme) party. Clearly we occupy the ‘middle’ ground of politics with lashings of common sense that appeal widely to the nation.
The Times couldn’t resist republishing the following paragraph on (page 2) of this largley unbiased article:
“David Cameron, the Tory leader, branded the BNP “racist thugs” at his party’s conference in Birmingham last month and said the Conservatives intended to win votes from the far-right party. In 2006, Cameron accused the BNP of “thriving on hatred” and said that it held unacceptable views”.
Have you ever heard such nonsense? If these papers keep referring to the BNP in this way they’ll run out of readership. But I guess that’s for them to ponder not for us to loose any sleep over.
Good find - SL.

You are absolutely right, Colin. People will say “McKinistry for Prime MInster”, Littlejohn for Prime Minister”, because of the commonsense writing, i.e. they generally opine BNP policies, but because these sheople have been repratedly pre-conditioned against the BNP with words such as “Right-Wing, odious, loathsome, vile, racist etc., this mantra continually reinforces the negative attitudes towards us. Our “leaders” and their media lackeys are not stupid. They know this full well.
We have to constantly work against the might of the establishment at breaking that barrier until the scales fall from these people’s eyes.

Good news Shropshirelass, thanks for the link.
And thank you Michael Smith.
I was their yesterday giving out our rascism cuts both ways booklet to the Liverpudlian’s, who were open and grateful to be handed the truth, fantastic news that the charges had been dropped from the Liverpool 13, yes the police were polite [but so they should have been we were only excercising our human rights], i met some other activists who had travelled all the way from Ireland, hello if your’e reading this, great to have met you, you know who you are. Proud to be BNP.
Well I am glad that went well, so maybe Manchester next to welcome a BNP parade with open arms?
An excellent report, and one that makes you proud to be British. An Historical date to remember without a doubt, a victory for free speech, and all that we hold dear. We still have a huge task ahead of us, but slowly but surely the people of Britain are seeing through Labours lies and spin, and the state controlled media must itself be uneasy at having to hide the truth. Keep up the good work, and we will prevail, and oh what a glorious country we can be again.
I am a great believer in the British spirit, which this government as in LibLabCon can never break or compete with; as the more they try, the stronger we unite to defeat the forces against us.
Well done to those who were able to get to Liverpool and show the true face of the BNP.
I read this report with tears in my eyes. I am an old man who as been waiting for this day many years.
God bless all of you at Liverpool yesterday you should be proud of yourself.
Be in absolutely no doubt about this:
THE POLICE HAVE DECLARED WAR ON THE WHITE INDIGENOUS BRITISH!
Do not trust any policeman, any who are still in the pay of the government are selling out their Country, their Family and future generations of our people, they are treacherous low lifes. They will happily put you in the Government (of whichever hue) Gulags. Beware those who come as friends and full of platitudes for they are the most treacherous of them all!

I have to dissagree, Most coppers are decent hard working individuals who are tied down at every juncture by Common Purpose graduates who have a pollitically Correct agenda that are stopping the average bobby doing his job to his full capability.
Congratulations, BNP! The Establishment knew that there was no way they could quell the voice of truth today.
I wonder, do the Liverpool 13 get any sort of apology from the police for wrongful arrest?
Also, there is no mention (so far) of this on the BBC website anywhere that I can see.
Hahaha — Don’t you just love the Lefties, visitng these news pages to vote 1 out of 10 for each of the comments.

In response to Keenor
“THE POLICE HAVE DECLARED WAR ON THE WHITE INDIGENOUS BRITISH!”
A soft war maybe, however the powers that be need to know that we can hit back too,
The recent bloody events in Mombai bring home the bloody reality of the dangers of terrorism to the British public.
If for example if there was a campaign to publicly advise people of the dangers in attending large government events such as lets say, the 2012 London Olympics, the significance of a Olympics games being half empty would be disastrous for the government in terms of kudos and public perception.
Bear in mind, that financial arm bending is a very powerful weapon, such as when Sinn Fein used the massive cost to the British state of subsidising the deliberately unemployed Nationalist population of Northern Ireland. That was a real motivation behind our government’s apparent eagerness for the peace progress that bought about the British capitulation there.
I wouldn’t normally recommend the Socialist Unity [sic] website, but it may be worth a glance today, because the reds are all hilariously fighting like ferrets in a sack over what they openly admit is a BNP victory. Mr Wayman Bennett is none too popular seemingly, for having failed to “Smash the BNP”.
Oh dear, poor sad little people, why don’t they try campaigning FOR something and perhaps even STANDING for election. It’s really much more fun than trying and failing to smash things all the time.

Thanks for the reference - yes, one of their emails says Bennett (who is apparently both tiny and ugly) announced he “likes to settle things with his fists” before retreating and telling his mates to go home. I left a message on their site, including a link to Racism Cuts Both Ways which none of them seem to have read.
Spare a thought for lefties who read this website, it must be earthshattering for them to realise they a being misled by Elites, the very people they are supposed to be against.
They probably still think communism and the new world order are about fairness and redistribution.

Communism and the New World Order are both constructs of international finance houses dating back to the rudiments of the Rothschilds and the Bilderbergers. Zionism is also a pervasive feature in this fact.
Just how the Reds reconcile this fact with their support for Socialism and Palestine is completely beyond me -because I deal in logic, a virtue the Reds are clearly devoid of.
Hey Brown, you thoroughly despicable individual, read these comments from my brothers and sisters and eat your lousy heart out you stinking piece of vermin.

Excellent piece by George.
Next best thing to being there, which I could not be, but it all makes me so proud of our BNP leaders, people and my own membership. Very well done all.
What I relish looking forward to is how the BBC and the rest of the media manage to do a dignified u-turn on BNP negativity/news blackouts as the BNP gets bigger, stronger and more popular as they cannot ignore our growing success forever.
Ed- `I bet they dont actually read them, because common sense and the truth isn’t one of their specialities.’
This, of course, is assuming they can read in the first place!
P.s. Not a big fan of the star ratings but my bigger concerns lay elsewhere.
Like I said earlier on another story, I just missed the BNP demo, but filmed the enemy causing bother around the Liverpool central station. The shoppers were inconvenienced by the loons of the left.
I would have filmed more, but was desperately trying to find our demo. Like I said earlier, I was gutted. It would have made great viewing on Youtube, but my day was not entirely wasted. The film above shows the world what a shower the left are.

Well done and hearty congratulations to all you stout-hearted men and women who took part in the “Great Liverpool Day”. I wish I could have been there. What a day ! These two posts on the Liverpool event took a long time for me to read. When you wear glasses and have to wipe the tears (of pride) from your eyes every two minutes as well as control the mouse, you need three hands. I cannot express how moved I was. With honest, good, true folk like those in our Party we can’t lose. And how wonderful to see the men and women of the Police Force doing the job just they used to in the “good old days” before the wreckers got their grubby hands on the tiller. Onwards and upwards. Our day is just around the corner.
It was a fantastic effort, brilliant.
One of our posters suggested having a look at “Socialist Unity” - so I did and what a laugh. They declared their total defeat to be a great victory, though more realistic voices did get through in the posts.
One thing I noticed was that they bleat “Ne Passeran” to each other on a regular basis. Presumably this is a “they shall not pass” reference to the Spanish Civil War. Something that always amuses and slightly irks me is the way Marxist rabble expect eternal gratitude for their having interfered in somebody else’s civil war on the dubious basis that Franco was a threat to world peace rather than a General jumping on a bandwagon. It’s like a religious cult, they expect to be worshipped for losing a war which, in the unlikly event of their being on the winning side, they say would have prevented WW2 - completely ignoring German ambitions, the power and dynamism of the German military and economy contrasting with the weakness of Britain and France and parnoid Soviet tyranny.
These kind of people are stuck in a time warp of the utmost tedium. The issue now is what can be done to prevent this country sliding completely down the tube of a poverty stricken, police state, third world dump. This is the resistance movement we are are leading, and we are connecting more and more with a wider public which is “viscerally distressed” by nation destroying mass immigration. “Viscerally distressed” was a phrase employed by the former Archbishop of Canterbury George Carey, a far better man than the Archdhimmi. It is our increasing success in connecting with this national distress that the Marxist rabble hate; they would love to be living in a third world bankrupt hole, just as long they are in control .
Great news all round, Nick Clegg slagging off some of his own front bench, threats of disrupting the state opening of Parliament, calls for Martin the speaker to resign,Spliffy being accused of lying over the Green affair, they are fighting like cats in a sack while we just get on with the job of waking the people up. Liverpool is just the start there’s plenty more to come, well done to you all a great result and an indication of what lies ahead, onwards and upwards we go.

How typical of the BBC not to make it clear that the 3 arrests at the Demo were anti BNP protestors.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/merseyside/7756628.stm
My own experience was that I chatted to an elderly man, who seemed to listen to what I said and took a leaflet. I spoke to a woman who similarly seemed to listen and took two leaflets. I spoke to I think 4 young girls, and, exasperated, said, “can you read? Well, read it!” since they were of the brainwashed type. I spoke to three women, 40s, who were next to the chanting ‘useful idiots’ and threw several copies on the ground when I confirmed they were BNP publications. There were some receptive anarchic Lennonesque youngsters. Most people were probably in shopping mode; many brushed aside the leaflets; I can see why some ”working class” people regard their fellows as fools. I wandered about with my camcorder, and got some nice over-police-shoulder shots- chap in a mac, with specs, on his mobile. He reminded me of a passage in Orwell: odd how the party members all look like black beetles, unattractive little fat shabby men, not at all like the muscular hammer-and-sickle workers they are supposed to represent.
