BNP Reaches into Norwich with Leafleting Campaign
As the British National Party continues to expand into all areas of Britain, party activists are striking out into regions which till now had never seen significant party activity before.
The latest example has come with the founding of a leafleting team who have set it as their target to cover as much of the Norfolk region as possible with BNP information pieces over the coming months. This is part of the organisation’s build-up to local and European elections next year.
Six local activists in Norfolk spent a sunny morning leafleting the suburbs of Norwich this week – a first for the Norwich area for a very long time.
Over 1000 of the new national leaflets were distributed to homes in the area. Local activists hope to continue spreading the word on a regular future basis in Norwich and also show support for West Norfolk in preparation for the European elections.
The reception from the public was overwhelmingly positive with many expressing an appreciation that the party was now active in the area as well, as it would give them something to vote for at long last.
