These idiots need to wake up, do useful work, get a life, stop acting like football thugs, and help make things better, not worse! The next ‘revolution’ should be one to get rid of the last putrid remains of this destructive idea called collectivism.

If the internet get tied up in red tape or ‘toll roads’, you will see the network equivalent of pirate radio stations popping up e.g. using covert, mesh or satellite based networks. P2P (peer to peer) networks and Open Source are already using some of these ideas; the amusing irony is that P2P and Open Source appear to be more capitalist and honest than corporate services, copyrights and patents!

@ apendragon – yes, I too wonder about the future on the Internet. There’s a possible comparison here with the BBC. Marconi started broadcasting in about 1900. The BBC was invented as a nominally independent but in fact state concern in early 1920s, with its local monopoly. If you date the start of websites as a mass influence at say 1995, this suggests a state monopoly before 2020. There could be of course analogies with radio jamming. And with scare stories (and indeed true stories) about Internet malpractice. Let’s hope that the multiple uses of computers, and their consequent wide usage, makes a clamp down on opinion difficult.

I thought this rabble was safely ensconsed in the Natural History Museum. Or are they something scraped up by one of those space probes? It’s astounding how a few dozen idiots can become ’seven hundred’ and how a minor scuffle between a few immature, stone-throwing ‘activists’ can become a ‘bloodbath’ which ‘engulfs’ the RWB (News of the World).

It seems that dishonesty and political bias are absolute requirements for what passes for our ‘free’ press. Well at least they can’t interfere with the internet… how long before they get round to that?

In reality, the sight of Commie ‘demonstrators’ stoning the police shows them as thugs and a danger to normal society. Equally, it does the BNP a great favour tactically and generates increased support.

I thought that the far left and been put to rest years ago. However, these events would appear to prove that the far left are becoming more and more active. I don’t have a problem with people who have left wing views and believe they have a right to peacefully try and promote those views. However this country does not want a return to the rent a mob tactics employed by the unions, and other left wing bodies, which we saw during the 70’s & 80’s. Such tactics, which relied on fear & intimidation to ‘promote those views’, have no place in Britain.

Now that the voters of Amber Valley have seen the choice for the next election they will be able to make a more informed choice.

There was an idiot who spotted me at a BNP meeting in Swansea. Now this fellow drinks in my local and decided after a little Dutch Courage to confront me whilst I was talking to a friend. He repeatedly kept screaming at the top of his voice “YOU’RE A NAZI”. It was comical to witness and once he’d finished his “why do hate blacks?”, “why do you hate Jews?”, “why do you hate gays?”, “why do you hate Irish?” nonsense followed up with a quick “but you do advocate violence” diatribe before threatening to beat me up. After he’d left the room was in pure hysterics. That is exactly the kind of person I want to keep talking. They push people towards us. Think of the crowd outside the opera when Simone Clarke was ‘outed’ by the Grauniad.

The people in the pub couldn’t stop laughing, by the way.
