He was on the dole and told us they had taken their time processing his forms. He told them he was a Muslim and needed the money to buy halal meat for his family. They fast-tracked him straight through. He was ashamed of his actions, confessing but not bragging. I told him that he had nothing to be ashamed of, since the establishment infrastructure deliberately facilitated preferential action in favour of the religion of peace. Why don’t we all use it? Also, getting a sharia mortgage means that if you lose your job, the government will continue paying your mortgage for you since it is not a loan, but is classed as rent.
