All Set for the Best Red, White and Blue Ever!

Final preparations are underway for what promises to be the best Red, White and Blue Family Festival ever at Codnor, Denby.

The fairground - much bigger than last year’s - has now been completely set up, and most of the marquees are up, with the last of the stalls being erected today in time for the official opening at 3pm.

One of the highlights is set to be the new Traditional Food Hall, where RWB-goers can enjoy the very best of traditional food from Britain - and elsewhere, proof that the BNP loves Europe, but hates the EU!

A packed agenda will ensure that even if it rains, there will be more than enough going on inside the marquees for everyone to do. The latest weather forecast says “light” rain is a possibility, but the interchangeable British weather means that anything is possible!

A full political agenda has been set up to deliver the very best from Britain, Australia, Sweden and the Czech Republic, while other highlights are sure to be the mock hostile press interviews with members of the audience, the debate on foxhunting, and several keynote addresses, including one from our GLA member, Richard Barnbrook.

The official unveiling of the Truth Truck, a revamped Excalibur tent and the advent of live broadcasting from the RWB site will all contribute towards making this event the highlight of this part of the year! You don’t dare miss it!

*Thinking of coming by train? Get to Derby (or Langley Mill, which has a limited service) and then a short bus ride to Codnor!

I hope the sun shines on the Party’s fun, but if not, yet on its best endeavours.

It is expected that representatives of the aforementioned fanatics will try to blot the Party’s image with provocative behaviour.

If that is the case, this should be a great opportunity to show the contrast between the behaviour of decent BNP supporters and that of these same thuggish haters of Britain and of the British people.

One reason why Bush senior got into power in the USA was the pictures on TV of screaming, hate-filled liberals ‘protesting,’ the sight of which digusted America.

That’s right, a Family Affair and a Family Festival. The BNP thinks of itself as an extended family, the atmosphere on this site is that of one big family (bickerings, teasing, mutual support and all) and the celebrations at the RWB will also be based on the family. The UAF, on the other hand, are dysfunctional thugs - thugs don’t have families, they have gangs. So, brothers and sisters, have a wonderful time while the lone wolves, united only in hate, prowl outside and howl at the moon. A traditional greeting seems in order, so God speed and keep you safe!

Hi Stuart, I do sympathise with your predicament. When you join the BNP you will be put in touch with your nearest branch. If you are fortunate enough to have a BNP councillor, do contact them. They can often help with local people’s problems. I am guessing that the police weren’t much help here -Ed

Here’s a video well worth a watch. It’s only 1:18 long but it’s a breath of fresh air compared to the BBC and Sky lie factories. Nick Griffin is obviously a hands on Chairman to be proud of. Let’s hope the weather is kind (it’s not looking bad) and everyone has a great time. I feel bad that I can’t be there but I will make it next year - God willing. Ed. Just tried to get by car to RWB but after about an hour in jams I turned back. I saw the unwashed in Codnor and police vans going towards where I assume the entrance is. I was on a tight schedule so had to turn back. I only live about 20 miles away.

Do you know what the hold up was ?

I read the news report on this, and it said about 500 anti-fascist supporters are trying to disrupt this event. Haven’t these saddos got anything better to do? This is a family day and they trying to disrupt it, the saddos need to get a life and stop trying to be bullyboys. I hope all have a good weekend at this event.

From what I have seen of the RWB and the people attending;they are very nice.

My only complaint is about this rif-raf that call themselves anti BNP. Anyone in the village will spot them a country mile away ‘ loud and aggresive ‘ in their mannerisms.

Freedom is for everyone and not for those who can shout the loudest are intimidate people.

I am absolutely gutted i couldn’t go this year. I am not a member and am not quite sure if I would have been allowed in. I told all my pals about the event and we were all raring to go but left it a bit late I think. Do you have to be a member to get in? As for the brainwashed pathetic unwashed unemployed losers of the UAF…..it really does show they are fighting a losing battle here…..what are they doing?…..common really what the hell do they think they are up to!! They must realise they are making complete and utter fools of themselves….surely come on PLEASE. It honestly made me laugh when I read the report about them “demonstrating”…..they seriously have nothing better to do with their useless pathetic wasted lives. They are even considering a RED BLACK & GREEN festival in the same area HAHAHA… tut tut tut if that’s all they have got then we have absolutely nothing to worry about. The following is a report from the “Green Arrow” from the RW&B as at 16:00 this afternoon:

“News in at 1600 from the Bridgend Organiser who is attending the RWB with his family, is that the weather is fine, if a little windy.

Although the press are reporting numbers of 500 anti-democracy demonstrators, activists who are monitoring the movements of the thugs put the numbers at around the 200 mark. Between 30/40 marched past the gates apparently looking like the refugees streaming across Europe to Our Country.

There were bottles thrown at police but this was well away from the event and not witnessed by any of the families who by all accounts are having a great time.

Despite the ban on alcohol sales imposed by the lickspittle council, there is ample ale for the troops and although the live music has been missed this year, there is background music aplenty and a real family atmosphere with lots of old friends reuniting and new friends being made.

Police appear to have matters well in hand but were the red hooligans able to breach their lines then there are obviously contingency plans for such an event. I need say no more on that subject.

The Bridgend Organiser is a regular at the RWB and he reckons that this is the best ever and that the organisational skills employed were superb. There are tents from the different regions, stands from London, overseas, the whole lot in fact.

Next week I should be able to bring you lots of images besides the official ones put out by the BNP themselves.

Should there be any developments of any kind then I will most certainly post them as soon as I have information.”

A better report on BBC “East Midlands Today”, than the one presented yesterday about the RWB Festival.

Tonight it was made quite clear who was making the trouble and disrupting the local community.

It wasn’t thirty BNP supporters who were arrested but members of the rabid gang of associated trouble makers that appear to range from old style Marxists, loony lefty students and various “immigrant” groups.

The stupid b****** couldn’t even agree amongst themselves but fell out about which group should lead their pathetic “protest”. I didn’t know, that in their pathetic little world, egos were so fragile.

It is outrageous that people cannot bring their children to an event like this without hordes of UAF yobs threatening them and the local villagers. Please do not be provoked by them. Let’s hope that the stark contrast in values and behaviour between the two parties is not lost on the voting public, and the world at large.

Land & People have just published a report on their site showing the head of the anti-democracy demo in Derbyshire.

It is led by the Derby Racial “Equality” Council and followed by the Indian Workers Association - as far as I can see there is only one white person (except the police) in shot - the rest appear to be Asians!

Apparently they didn’t get a very good reception from local people - many resenting this noisy invasion of their village. Anti-fascist protesters outside the BNP’s annual Red, White and Blue Festival: Thirty-three demonstrators protesting against a BNP festival were arrested following clashes with police.
Riot police were called in after 40 anti-fascist protesters dressed in black tried to barricade a road to prevent BNP members reaching their annual Red, White and Blue (RWB) festival.
They pelted riot police with stones before officers, armed with batons and supported by dogs moved in to quell the violence.
The outbreak took place close to a farmer’s field in Denby, Derbyshire, where about 2,500 BNP members had gathered for their annual festival.
Derbyshire Constabulary said they arrested six people for violent disorder at the scene. Further arrests were made later in nearby Heanor. There were no serious casualties although one officer suffered minor injuries.
Peter Goodman, Assistant Chief Constable of Derbyshire Constabulary, said 250 officers were used in the operation.
He said: “A small number of people who were not part of the main group seemed intent on causing problems. Officers responded quickly and effectively to minimise inconvenience to local people and those attending the RWB event.
“I acknowledge there were delays for road users travelling between Codnor and Loscoe but the illegal actions of the protesters who blocked the road made those delays inevitable.”
The main rally against the BNP took place in the nearby village of Codnor.
It was organised by Unite Against Fascism and included members of the TUC and Unison. Bob Crow, general secretary of the RMT, was also at the rally, which police said was attended by 400 people.

A minor number of points about the balanced BBC reporting of the Red White and Blue Festival. Might it be a combination of:-

1. Letters of complaint to the BBC.
2. With the BNP vote in many instances being higher than Labour the media are anoying more and more people.
3. With the BNP vote averageing about 10 to 20% (maybe more) the media have a problem.
4. They are reigning in the BBC Ethnic Enrichment Dept.
5. The campaign to cut the BBC subsidy is growing.
6. The NUJ is loosing its grip.

I would presume that on Monday the reordering of Toilet Rolls and Headache Pills will be a priority with the Liblabcon Artists.

We might soon feature in the Opinion Polls!

3000 may be present at the RWB, but just as many not there are keeping in touch.

I would have very much liked to attending but being a ‘ pensioner’ camping out would be a bit too much for me.

I hope the BNP gets a list of all those that were arrested and lists them on this site.

Where we can trace them back to any jobs they have in the public sector we can provide official protest as to their actions. The Public sector is full of these types, all preying on our taxes.

What a joke this PC brigade is, they believe anyone belonging to the BNP should not have any position in the public sector yet they are arrested for public disorder. There’s teachers out there that are pole dancers/strippers and look after primary school kids.

I hope everyone who attended had a fantastic time!. I couldn’t be there but will try at next year’s. I was disgusted to hear about some protesters trying to block the road to the event. They are blinded by their ignorance and hate, they need to look up the definition of fascism. The SNP don’t get this trouble, but I suppose British nationalism as whole to be more threatening to these woefully ignorant types. At least the police actually arrested them and stopped the road block and thus prevented families at the event from serious physical harm. The BNP are not Nazis and do not go around beating up people who don’t share their view. The protesters need to look in the mirror to see what they really hate.

Will Punch and Judy shows require a licence?

The Licensing Act has not significantly changed the definition of “play” used in the Theatres Act 1968. Punch and Judy shows are currently licensable under the 1968 Act and will therefore continue to be licensable under the Licensing Act when performed publicly, for members and their guests of a qualifying club in relation to the provision of regulated entertainment or to a private audience for consideration and with a view to profit by the organiser.

However, if a children’s party was staged for friends and the Punch and Judy entertainment was provided by the host (the child’s parents) for their guests for free (as it would be normally at a party), then no licence would be required. Anyone wishing to stage a Punch and Judy show for the general public must ensure that the site is covered by a premises licence or temporary event notice.

The police knew that violent union/Labour and Communist Party-supported elements were going to turn up and were prepared. To be fair, most just shouted abuse and waved banners. The police worked very hard to contain some yobbish behaviour and a number of anarchic elements who were (mainly) the black-clad stone-throwers (some of whom had already stoned shop- and home-windows who had the Union Flag or St George’s Cross on display), and so kudos to the police for their handling of the situation and the arrests. By contrast, there was nothing of that inside the site.

The event was a great family day out. Ordinary families getting together for a great weekend with their kids. Great food, lots for the kids to do, and some excellent political speakers including the GLA’ Richard Barnbrook. Late-night Morris dancing, a 40’s event for the oldies, and a fabulous fireworks display rounded off the evening.

We’ll pre-book accommodation for nexty year so that we can do both days.

I am so pleased that the Festival was a success. Congratulations to all who obviously worked so hard to make it so.

What a pathetic attempt by the “thought police” to try to nail the Chairman on a Punch and Judy charge. They are so worthy of a contempt well-earned. Obviously there were no real troublemakers in the area to deal with at that time–no Pikeys illegally parked and pinching any form of metal they could lay their hands on in Derbyshire; no drug dealers doing business in Derby. No crime of any sort, just a Punch and Judy show. Thank goodness that Basil Brush wasn’t making a guest appearance.

Well done Derbyshire Constabulary. I am sure that all the residents of that county can sleep easy in their beds, knowing that you are fighting the real dangers to their security.
