Excalibur Launches New Music Line

In keeping with our purpose of encouraging and promoting British culture, Excalibur is today proud to announce the launch of a new range of music CDs. They have all been specially chosen to reflect the richness of European British culture.

The CDs containing Classical music in particular have been chosen to introduce people to that musical form, and to help wean youngsters away from the European art form destroying mindlessness of what is claimed to be “modern” culture.


 The Best of British Folk Volume 1

British folk music represents the heart and soul of the common people of our land. Drawing upon real life experience, country and town life, this collection draws together Celtic roots, Old English chants and fine folk instrumentation to produce 16 of the greatest British Folk songs of all time. Highlights include “An Ubhal As Airde” by Claire Hamilton and “Love on the Spinning Wheel” by Magna Carta.

 

 


  The Best of British Folk Volume 2

Volume 2 of the Best of British folk music continues with the musical traditions of the people of our land, as detailed in Volume 1 above. Another 16 of the very best of traditional British folk music on one album. Highlights include “Boots of Spanish Leather” by Two Dogs, and “Dancer to the Drum” by the Albion Band.

 

 

 


 In An English Country Garden

 This is a CD containing all English composers, featuring many of the most popular light classics performed by recognised Orchestras. It includes many all-time favourites such as ‘English Country Garden’ and ‘Fantasia On Greensleeves’, and a carefully compiled selection of appropriate classical pieces by such composers as Holst, Grainger, Vaughan Williams, and Elgar.
