Problem is, that particular islam does not exist. At least, this is not Muhammad’s islam, it’s not the islam of Saudi Arabia, it’s not the islam of so-called “Palestine”, it’s not the islam of Afghanistan, Pakistan, Algeria, or indeed ANY majority muslim country.

Muhammad had a prisoner tortured for money, then killed (the Jew Kinana, of the Banu Nadir tribe).

I’m sorry, I don’t see the equivalent in the gospel, or in Buddha’s example.

And I could go on about Muhammad, of course.

It’s all very well to promote a warm and fuzzy islam, but I don’t believe in building anything based on lies. And I don’t send my kid to school for him to be lied to.

And anyway, he’s far too informed and clever, even at eight, to go for it lol.

However, if the plans do indeed go ahead, I will also be withdrawing my children from the lessons on religious grounds.
