Hypocrite of the Week

Our winner this week is the grandson of a Turkish immigrant, whose father was a former Conservative MEP, and, employee of the European Commission and World Bank.

His dream is to create, once again, the Roman Economic Community built around Mare Nostrum.  He wishes to reunite the two halves of the original Roman Empire by allowinging Turkey into the EU.  He asks, “what do we gain by continually asserting some “cultural” gulf between us and this “alien” people?”

Of course this dream has nothing to do with his own family history, or has it?

And now, this man, whose British roots are shall we say, somewhat shallow, is the Mayor of London. He is, to call him by his full name:

Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson

‘Boris’ claims to be a democrat, yet he happily joined all the other anti British Mayoral candidates in supporting the odious ‘Operation Black Voice’ campaign against the BNP.   A true democrat would have had nothing to do with such a campaign, whatever his views on an opponents policies.  A true democrat would always seek to defeat his opponents with the force of his argument!

During his acceptance speech, following his election, he said a lot of things, but he never mentioned the corruption within the system.  He never promised to ensure that the Metropolitan Police investigate clear breaches in the probity of the ballot, did he?  And of course, in partnership with his fellow cronies from the political establishment he joined the infantile walk out when Richard Barnbrook spoke.

A true democrat would have not done that because Mr Barnbrook (whatever ‘Boris’ claims to believe about him) happens to be a true democrat.  What will ‘Boris’ do when faced with Richard in the future – scuttle away into a dark corner and sulk???

Therefore Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson you are our Hypocrite of the Week.  You claim to be a democrat, but clearly, you have no concept of what the word means!
