BNP Local and London Election Manifesto Launch Draws BBC News

April 14, 2008 - By BNP News

london-press-conference01.jpgThe British National Party launched its local and London manifesto at a press conference last Saturday, with a large number of journalists and London BBC in attendance.

Held in a very attractively decorated venue in Dagenham to the east of London, the conference was also attended by a large number of local election candidates from areas around London, and all the candidates standing for the GLA top up list.

The meeting was arranged by Eddy Butler, National Elections Officer and chaired by Emma Colgate, the Eastern Region Elections Officer, who has been seconded to work on the London campaign.

The meeting opened with a group photograph of the GLA candidates. The first speaker was Bob Bailey, the BNP candidate for the City and East London Constituency and number two on the proportional Top Up list. He gave an expert summary of the manifesto.

Bob was followed by Mayoral candidate and number one on the proportional Top Up list, Richard Barnbrook.

The candidates took questions and many gave separate interviews, and an excellent feature resulted on London BBC News.
